I love it and I did give it as a gift however I went and bought my own as well and I also bought one for myboyfriend it is so useful and I Love it!! The fact that it's Soo bright is amazing.

I was surprised that it was 300 lumens because it really does seem so much brighter than that. It's small and compact, so you could potentially fit it in your pocket, but it even comes with a clip so you can affix it to any clothing item or backpack. This one was also stolen by my husband.

Love the fact that it has that little clip that is detachable to give you the option to wear it or not. Love the range of light and I love the light quality. I would highly recommend . Although I have not needed to use the strobe mode yet I imagine it would come in handy in an emergency. The batteries have lasted for a while now and I doubt I will need to replace them anytime soon. This is the perfect addition to a toolbox or emergency kit.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Energizer TAC 300 flashlight is superb. I suppose the "tac" is short for tactical, given the wild strobe function that would surely blind and disorient anyone in front of it. Aside from that function, there are the standard high and low settings; the low would be the brightness of a typical flashlight, the high being sufficient for just about anything one could possibly envision needing a flashlight to accomplish. The textured metal of the case, as well as the loophole and belt-clip are nice functional considerations as well. The battery functions on a single CR123 lithium battery; they aren't the cheapest to replace, but the flashlight is excellent.

I keep it by my nightstand in the event that the power goes out or if I need to find something in the dark. It’s also lightweight and doesn’t feel bulky when held. Oh did I mention that it’s very bright for such a small size flashlight?!
