They are quite bright. I put 6 in our 3-car garage with 12’ ceilings. I also liked that there is a metal flange included to cover the 3.5” receptacle opening. These are fairly easy to install with the actual lights held by a safety cord. Inspect for shipping damage. One of mine was bent; but fixable

Great lights,well made,easy to install. I installed 10 lights in a 1200 sq. Ft. garage, plenty of light.

Great light I bought 3 already

Love the light output of this light. I bought this one for work, went back to the store and bought 2 more for my house. They are a welcome addition to the dull incandescent's that were there before.

Excellent Upgrade from my old 8-ft Fluorescent 2-bulb fixtures! Easy to install, including wiring up and hanging in place. Easily puts out at least as much light as the old units and has been "instant on" during this last cold stretch. Product looks high quality and appearance is professional. All this for an amazingly low price.

Great light for the price

Nicely engineered with good build quality all around. Instructions are skimpy, but you can figure it out. No question: it IS bright.

I bought four of these 8', strip lights to place on top of 2 beams going across a vaulted ceiling. The lights shine up at the ceiling - painted white - and the light reflects down into the whole room. No glare, only a room full of comfortable light. EXCELLENT - And they are dimmable.

The light fixture had a very slim appearance and easily adapted to plug in capability in my garage/workshop area. I was impressed with the quality and appearance and the thin footprint it left. The fact that it was an 8 foot fixture and could easily be installed by one person also impressed me. I have the flexability to move around depending on my project and the additional lighting was extremely helpful.

When I installed the LED lighting in our garage/shop, I laid them out as recommended and was very happy with the results. One problem, once the garage door is opened all of the lights above my work bench are blocked. When it is not too hot or too cold I like to keep the door open, so I found this very nice eight foot LED light. I installed it at the ceiling and directly over the work bench. I couldn't be happier even though it was difficult to install after completing our remodel.

Very impressed with the light provided by the Linear Strip Light. As I do detailed work on my work bench, I was looking for a lighting solution, other than a single bulb. The Strip Light covers a large area, providing light from all sides. The wiring solution was simple, with the instruction manual giving sufficient detail to make it safe and easy. Definitely a product for detailed work done by us "older" people.

Eight feet strip of 8000 lumens cool white light (4000K) for a miserly 82 watts of power consumption and a low price point! Having a woodshop with 16 feet of work counter lit by several watt guzzling incandescent light bulbs, I decided to try this LED strip light. Once received, I immediately perused the included instructions that sadly lacks concise step-by-step illustrations. However, the simple design of the strip light made figuring out accessing the internal wiring fairly easy. The first thing I noticed was that the internal LED power source and wiring access is mounted in the center of the strip housing and the light strip is designed to be mounted directly over a ceiling light junction box. Knockouts are located at the center and ends of the light housing which means that you could mount these lights end-to-end, but it would require installing 8 feet of electrical wire just to join one LED power source to the other. The cool white light output is very good but not as bright as a daylight color (5000K). The light cover is thick (won't crack or break easily) and is easy to remove for cleaning. A great high quality strip light for the price point.

Simple clean design! Replaced the fluorescent bulb fixture in a storage area in our basement. With 300-Watt Equivalent White Integrated LED 4,000-Lumen and 5000k daylight lumen this is a fantastic bright LED white light. Lightweight but still made sturdy. Easy to install, just need to follow simple directions on hard wiring. Just be sure to install the end caps first before screwing the strip into the ceiling, makes it easier! There is a slight delay when you turn the light on but overall this is a very functional bright LED light. This can be used with Lutron or Leviton 0-10-Volt dimmers but we chose not to use the dimmer feature.

Caution, this unit is very bright and at 8 feet in length it will light up an area! I replaced two single socket 100 watt bulbs with this fixture and WOW, what a difference. Bright white. The fixture was very easy to install; simply used the exiting wiring/junction box. My wife assisted by holding one end of the fixture while I attached the other to the ceiling. Could be done by one person; but easier with two. The commercial-looking unit does more than I expected but I no long have to search for items on the shelving units with dark shadows (experienced with the standard light bulbs).

This LED light unit is a nice, basic light for general lighting requirements. I installed this unit over a small storage area for worry-free use. That is to say I don't have to change bulbs or think about the lamps not turning on. The LEDs are not affected by temperature swings. The unit worked with the existing wiring. Simply removed the older fixture and installed the LED unit. Quite easy for anyone who has experience switching out light units. Also, even first-timers will not have a problem following the instructions and installing the unit on their own. This IS a basic light fixture so don't look for something stylish.

Dollar for dollar and lumen for lumen, this is a better buy than the 4' version which puts out half the light. This fixture is a full 8' long, sturdy to hold and install but not as heavy as you might think by looking at it. The color range of the light is 4000K which is perfect for commercial space, basements, garages, work areas. The design is simple and attractive and it will blend in easily. It's so much more attractive than similar fluorescent models. Like many LED strip lights, this has dimming capability if needed. The fixture has to be hard-wired to an appropriate electric box. The reason I gave this a 4 star rating instead of 5 stars on ease of installation is only because of its 8' length. It mounts securely and easily but not quite as easy as the model that is half its length. Because it's an LED light, it runs w/o hum, is unaffected by cold and dampness as found in a basement or garage.
