NICE DESIGN BUT 1 (out of 6) hinges I bought was defective. POOR QUALITY CONTROL Also, the mounting screws are too soft (CHEAP STEEL) and several of the Phillips drive screwheads stripped out in installing the hinges, and the screws had to be replaced.

bad screws
the hinge quality itself is great but the screws are not rated for outdoor use. when they get wet, they bleed the black down the wood on the fence. also too small for gate. they only screw into picket and not 4x4. buy longer screws that are for outdoor use.

Strong, placed them on 6x6 doors for a heavy gate...
Strong, placed them on 6x6 doors for a heavy gate and there holding strong even with the winds of New England howling at them all winter. The only adjustment I made was installing stronger 2.5 “ t-bit screws instead of the provided screws. Wanted more of an anchor.
