Well built 3 inch narrow utility hinges are an excellent choice for most any application where you need an economical hinge. Set of two complete with screws. A bit more narrow that standard hinges allows these hinges to be less noticeable than most. Zinc plated hinges can be used outdoors as they are rust resistant. Not as shiny as stainless, but less costly too. Center pins are removable. Tapered holes, three per side, accept screws flush.

These are durable hinges for cabinets and other uses. The size is great but they need to be mortised for cabinets if you want a flush close. Each plate is about 1/16" thick. I used them recently for a "busy board" for my daughter. Comes with 12 3/4" screws.

Just as advertised. Heavy duty 3" galvanized hinge. Worked great for my project.

Hinges met expectations. This was a quality/ price point purchase. HD offered the best product (quantity) for my application. If your looking for functional hinges at a fair price, these will satisfy.

Hinges are fine. The supplied screws have an oddball sized Phillips drive. It's not #1 or #2. Hurt myself when my screwdriver would not stay seated in the screw and the door I was installed fell. Used some screws I had on hand and tossed the supplied screws in the trash.

I bought three sets of hinges one was rusted. Ordered online so had no way of preventing this. Person picking the part should’ve checked.

They fit my application but they are weaker thinner steel. Works but doesn’t have a solid feel.

I used these to make a hinged screen top for a raised garden. They are working very well and has made the project a success.

The actual hinge is solid and does its job satisfactorily. But the screws are ridiculous. Soft, easily striped, shallow slots. Used the hinges in a tight, hard to access spot where getting perfect screw/screw driver alignment was difficult. Finally tossed the screws and used higher quality.

These hinges are just plain junk. They do not even swing. Am I supposed to get two pair of channel locks to get them open? I made a special trip to my Home Depot to get these and they are the worst quality hinges I have ever seen in my life ( I am 60). I wouldn't take them for free. They don't work at all. I am just amazed they put this in a package and sell it. It's like they are welded or rusted or something. I love my Home Depot but these are no good.....at all.

Very good quality and very simple to install. It comes with instructions in the back and the only tool you need is a screwdriver and a pencil to mark the holes. It doesn't say anywhere that these are rust proof so wouldn't recommend to use on outdoor applications. The material is metal with a satin nickel finish. The hinges open and close very smoothly.

This is a great replacement for some old rusty hinges on my chicken house. Said hinges have been taking the elements for about 30 years and are deteriorating besides not opening easily. The rusty hinges made it hard to open the door so that I could put feed in for my Guinea Fowl (Chickens are on the other side of the house with their own door for taking in their feed).

If by removable, they mean you have to clamp it in a vise and get a weightlifter to stop by with his needle-nose pliers to pry it loose for you, then maybe it is removable. I ordered these for putting together and taking apart stage flats, and while I assumed they would be the right item I took a chance and hoped that the removable pin would be a.... "removable pin". Just like another review about a so-called removable pin hinge by another maker, these are not removable without damaging the hinge, even though that is what it says on the package....would not recommend

Everbilt 3" Narrow Utility Door Hinge was a solution to use on a resin shed that houses our gas generator. The shed top slides back fully exposing the generator when in use and closes for storage. But the back portion of the shed was empty and unused. The idea was to cut an access door out of the rear wall, install a 1"x3" back frame on the inside of the shed and top mounted the door with the narrow hinges. These narrow utility hinges were perfect weighing less than conventional hinges and placing less stress on the shed wall. The removable pin made attachment a breeze and the hinges reassembled easily to reinsert the pin. A couple hours, a little ingenuity and the Everbilt 3" Narrow Utility Hinges we now can optimize our generator storage shed. Out of the package the hinges are a little stiff - some silicon spray and working them back and forth freed up their motion. We found them to be a nicely balanced pair of hinges and the quality of these hinges eliminated the frustrations of a poorly manufactured hinge. The hinges come in an economical two pack.
