Do not, and I repeat, do not follow the instructions. When I follow the instructions, it did not work out because the anchor ended up, just pushing all the way through the hole, rendering it useless. Just make your hole the diameter of the threaded screw and then it worked out flawlessly. I love the numbers and they have a great look. It’s definitely a design flaw.

Needed a masonry bit to drill holes in a rock but looks terrific.

Perfect for my needs. Easy to install and look great. The reflective aspect could be better but for the price I cannot complain. Highly recommend.

Numbers not the same size
If I could rate these 0 I would. My biggest complaint is that all the numbers are not in fact 5". Unfortunately we realized AFTER we filled holes and installed them. More we have to patch all the holes to install totally docent numbers. WHY would a company make one number that much shorter than all the rest!?! It looks horrible. In addition while they are under the eaves within 1 day they got water spots that can't be removed from the rain. They weathered after 1 day in the rain!

    Anchors Pushed right through
Numbers look nice but the anchors pushed right through as some other reviews have shown, the anchors pop out. I was installing into a hollow post so when the anchors fell out the back, they were gone forever. I ended up having to use some spray adhesive, some clamps, and glued the numbers on.

          Terrible product
I don’t understand how this product has positive reviews. It’s defective for several reasons. First, not all numbers are the same size. The numbers are supposed to be 5 inches in height. One number I ordered met this height. But another (a 5) was only 4.75 inches. Second, the mounting hardware connects to the numbers at crooked angles, making it difficult to mount the numbers appropriately. And third, as others have noted, the mounting template is off. I ultimately found another product that was better made (and cheaper).

            Great looking modern numbers!
Love these modern numbers! Read several reviews prior to installing and ditched the included plastic anchors due to all of the bad reviews re: installation. I found the largest drill bit that could fit through the spacer, and used that to drill the holes. Used a rubber mallet to hammer the numbers in place - with a padded glove in between to make sure I didn't damage the numbers. If I were to do it again, I would have spray painted the spacers black, so they matched the numbers better.

              Recommend with installation warnings
Like other reviewers, I tried to install these into 3/4" thick wood, and the plastic anchors pushed through when installing the numbers. Luckily, I wasn't installing directly into siding, so I could start with a new board, and the following installation worked great: 1. Install screws into numbers and place the numbers on the wood in the correct spot. Push firmly into wood to get a stencil of where to drill the screw holes. 2. Holes must be accurate, so begin with thin drill bit, then go up to 5/32nds 3. Push screws into holes (without spacers). Add wood glue to the back if possible to firmly hold in place

                Anchors pushed right through.
I’m a woodworker and DIY person on my house. I am NOT a novice. This is marketed to push a threaded rod into a normal, drywall anchor. The instructions say push or tap with rubber mallet. My layout and alignment was flawless. I drilled the pilot holes with the recommended drill bit, tapped in the anchors, which fit snug. Then I pushed the numbers/threaded rods with spacers into the anchors. They needed tapping with a rubber mallet so I tapped them little by little. They IMMEDIATELY pushed the anchors through completely. I sniffed them up to the wall and they leave quite a visible gap between the spacers and the siding. AND the finish began to come off from simply tapping with a rubber mallet. See photos.

                    Stencils don’t work
I used the stencils on the back of the pack. I drilled my holes and installed the numbers. The spacing between numbers was not correct and now it looks like garbage. And the quality of the product is also garbage.

Gorgeous & affordable large house numbers
I searched for quite some time for house numbers I liked & most everything was very cost prohibitive. After seeing someone on Pinterest use these numbers, I decided to give them a shot. My local store has the numbers in stock. Installation on a cedar board I purchased at Hime Depot was very straightforward and easy. I used the template with no issues. I’m not sure what size drill but I used but I matched it up to the threaded rod. It was quite snug. I ended up stepping on the numbers with my sneaker to get them through the cedar because I couldn’t find my rubber mallet & that worked fine. I’m very satisfied with the quality and installation. I’ll think I’ll stain the cedar and then mount the cedar board to my house.

Throw away the anchors. Product is fine by itself.
I want to thank the previous reviewers who gave insight on their installation experience. With your info, I managed to install mine with good results. What I learned: 1. Anchors are crappy, so I didn't use it. Neither did I use the recommended drill bit size, but instead, I used one that has the same diameter as the the threaded rod. Find one that fits through the spacer and you should be good to go. 2. The mounting template is not accurate. The solution is to install the threaded rods into the numbers, and then you press it down on the template to create a divot on the paper surface. You will you use that as reference for drilling the holes. I didn't have a rubber mallet, but a regular hammer and a rubber sandal will also do the trick. Just make sure to lightly tap at the rubber sandal so you don't push the number too hard against the wall. Do it slowly/carefully and you won't damage your wall. overall, it installed well. It looks really nice.

They are a nice size, would like larger size for my house though. They was added to the mail box very lovely. My Neibert even asked about them, they wo I kd like larger and glow in the dark or if headlights hit them glow. They look really nice hope I find bigger in the same look and color would look great on my house. With ordering delivery it helps the drivers.

Very nice quality reflective numbers for your house. You could also use these on your mailbox post. They are very nice with the reflective coating as well. They are made of metal completely so should last you a very long time almost a lifetime. Very nice simple and modern style to them. They can be mounted flush or they can also be mounted to stick out a little bit as well for a little different look.

These house numbers are very sleek and modern looking. I like how the silver spacers make them stand out from the wall. They're relatively straightforward to install, though a bit tedious. My house has vinyl siding on it, so I opted to make a wooden sign and install them on that so as to avoid drilling holes in the siding. You'll definitely want to make yourself a template before you start drilling as there isn't a lot of wiggle room. They look great though!

I really like the modern design of these house street numbers. The raised look with black sides gives it a great three-dimentional look. The reflective front appears like a satin nickel during the day, but also allows the street numbers to be seen very easily at night. There are two complaints - some of the reflective paint finish is on the edges of the number and there are no installation instructions. The package comes with three pieces of 3/16 in. all-thread and three inserts. One end screws into the number and the other into the wall. I installed mine into my cedar trim by drilling pilot holes and gently hammering them into place with a piece of pine on the number and a wood mallet so as not to damage the finish. I'm not sure how you would install these into the masonry inserts since they should be screwed in.

This was one of four numbers I mounted outside for our address. It has a very modern sleek look. The wood grain is not noticeable unless you are up close. Installing the numbers was more difficult than you might expect. The mounts are not centered on the numbers making it difficult to line them up or space evenly. Also the mounting hardware that is included uses an anchor that does not have a lip, so when you push it in it will fall through into a hollow space like the pillar we were mounting it on. Over all though we are happy with the look of the numbers.
