These made in China hooks are useless. They are not bent enough. Both ends of the "S" are straight and do not support their own weight, let alone any hanging item.

These 1 1/2 inch zinc plated S hooks are designed for lifting, attaching ropes or chains together, but there are so many other uses for a crafter. While most people use these for porch swings, planters, baskets and overhead lighting, I use them for displays in my booth at a craft fair or hanging items for display in my craft room. I also use them for hanging scissors and other tools from bars over each station. I love having them on hand.

S-hooks are a very versatile but simple piece of hardware. I use these hooks in my workshop to have the things I use most frequently in a convenient spot. I use them in my closet to hang things such as tennis rackets and my firearm case; basically anything that has a loop. At work I use one to hang my backpack and keys so they don't lay on the ground. The only thing I find is that I have to secure them in place with a small zip tie but that's no biggie. The zinc plating makes them look new for much longer. Great simple piece of hardware with unlimited uses.

This 1-1/2 inch zinc-Plated S-Hook (30 Piece package)is a great value. I use S-hooks for many things from hanging delicates in the laundry room to hanging lights in the backyard. This package is very versatile. The zinc plating is strong and smooth, so I don’t worry about things snagging because of poor quality. They are a good width and length, and hold on to the bars making using them very convenient. I am pleased with these hooks.

Love these S hooks. They can be used in a multitude of ways to unclutter and keep things neat and tidy. Use for hanging purses, plants, gardening tools, etc. I use a zip tie for electrical cords then hang the cords out of the way on the s hook. Use to hang pots, pans, cutlery in the kitchen if you like that look. Hang just about anything anywhere, and they make different sized s hooks for just about anything you need it for.

This is a pack of 30 Everbilt brand 1 1/2 " zinc plated S hooks made in China for Home Depot. The hooks are small in size (1 1/2") but made of thick zinc plated stock and should easily hold light and medium loads like flower planters, bird feeders, overhead lights etc. The pack of 30 S hooks in June of 2019 is priced under $6 making each hook price out at just under 20 cents.. The pack would be a good and handy addition to any hardware cabinet and workshop and would have many possible uses.I am pleased to add these hooks to my hardware cabinet for future uses and would recommend the pack.

I decided to use S hook vs. suction cups because they guarantee me confidence that they would securely hold all my valuable fagile amia window suncatchers of staying safely secured up and not fall down and break.

Using them to hang Icicle lights. I used big pliers to "squish" the "S" together to minimize the swaying of the lights. They work fine, unless it's REALLY windy.

I used these to attach patio lights at a backyard wedding last weekend. They were perfect.
