the product was great for what i used it for.

It was just a specific project that this part worked great.

Although it's listed at 9.6" X 9.6" and says the store has 5 of them, as expressed in other reviews, this is in error. The price is correct and they had stock on the shelves, but the dimensions of the units are are 8" X 8" I wasted a trip and time looking for the non-existent 9.6" X 9.6"

Installed is quite easily in drywall in minutes, although I added cleats on the inside of the wall to secure it. The description in the specifications are accurate, but the one in the title are misleading. The 9.6" measurement is the outside dimensions of the flange. The actual rough opening is about 8 1/4" square.

like the other 1 star reviewer, he is 100% correct.home depot, after 38 minutes on the phone says they only have the 8x8.I was fooled again.

Home depo does not carry this access panel if you go to the store the product number goes back to a 8x8 access panel however if you read this ad it will tell you to frame your opening to 10x10 I'm glad I checked before I hung the sheetrock because the whole unit is smaller than that so don't be fooled like I was or you will have to reframe your openings like I had to. yet once again HD's quality control has dropped the ball and is running deceitful advertisements also when I asked if the right size panel could be obtained I was told I should shop at a competitors store.

It’s grea for hiding my wires behind my walls. I have 3 others for other access points. Love it.
