I use these small lava rocks in my garden and to improve drainage for plants in pots. They work great.
Just wish they were carried in my local Home Depot.

The lava rocks work fine in my new fire pit....
The lava rocks work fine in my new fire pit. They were expensive at nearly $15 for a 10 pound bag, but in line with other sources. Now all I need is cooler weather so I can crank up the fire pit and enjoy it!

I bought many bags of these rocks, and the first...
I bought many bags of these rocks, and the first few were great. Then the next few bags had many other kinds of rocks mixed in with it. It was still mostly the lava rocks but it was really annoying to pick out white rocks from my landscaping project.

This looks great in our flower beds. The sizes are varied as described. Easy to dump in the beds and spread out. Light weight. The only thing I don't like is that the bag doesn't hold much. I expected more for the price.
