So far am still evaluating effecting on attracting mosquitos. They seem less, but time will tell

Ordered the Flowtron 1-1/2 Acre Mosquito Killer, BUT received the Flowtron 1 Acre Mosquito Killer instead. Called Home Depot to report it and found out the Item number on the web site for the 1-1/2 acre unit is for the 1 Acre unit, "supplied by the manufacturer". I was offered compensation for the mistake, so I kept the 1 Acre unit. Home Depot and Flowtron need to correct this problem.

This is the second time buying this product and under a years timeframe both stopped working. 1st time it was a bulb issue, replaced bulb never turned on.

Does a great job. Love hearing them fry!

I've been using these and BF models for over 12 years. Both brands seem to last about 2 to 3 years. They do not have ground cords, just 2 prong. These seem to last long than the BFs do. Ordering new one now. The FlowTron BZ 80s have larger bulbs and I have one that has lasted 12 years. So, let down by the 2 year life of the more expensive BlackFl@## model. The best feature is the bugs go down year-to-year so over time they reduce the population. Safe for bees.

Just perfect. I have a large yard (a bit over an acre) and live next to a swap. The Flowtron rids my outside deck of biting insects. It's a miracle! One tip is to turn it on at dusk, or an hour or two before you want to use your outdoor space. This bad boy is worth every penny!

Works great. The only thing I wish it had was a built-in timer.

I had a Fkowtron 1 1/2 Acre that was 1 1/3 years old and it stopped zapping bugs. The light worked but it would not kill the bugs. So, I purchased a new one. The new one does the same thing right out of the box. The light works and bugs are crawling all over it it it would not zap a single bug.

This bug zapper does a good job of attracting bugs, but unfortunately once they are zapped there is no bottom to the zapper - what a mess those dead bugs make of anything underneath the zapper! I am constantly blowing out our entryway where the zapper is located, and sometimes the bugs need washing from the floor as well because they stick. Needs some kind of removable and cleanable tray connected to the bottom to collect the dead bugs.

I figured to get a jump start on this spring and summer mosquito season by ordering this bug zapper. Home Depot had it delivered pretty quickly and it is all set up ready to go. It is perfect for my home size and so far it works well.

I bought two of these last summer and used at my sisters farm. I I was concerned one would not be enough because the bugs can get bad. This thing attracts and DESTROYS bugs. It was zapping almost nonstop and we had virtually no bugs around us. When large moths get in there the zapping stops for a few seconds while it toasts the big ones. I love that I do not have to bring it in when it rains either. This thing rocks. On really buggy nights however it can get gummed up with so many bugs though. We just shot it with the leaf blower and blew the cloud of thousands of bugs out.

Wow..this baby is a killer!!

This light kills mosquitos by the thousands each evening. Great product. You MUST have a heavy duty (not light or med duty) extension cord to operate this light or it will trip the GFCI or breaker.

Broke after a month so returned it. I think the openings at the exterior are too small for the large horse flies we have around here.
