Functions perfectly in the FluidMaster 703a series fill valve in my Glacier Bay toilet. Sadly, the rubber doesn't do well with my water, so I have to replace it every year or so. Luckily, it's a lot cheaper than replacing the whole fill valve. I tried coating it in silicone grease, hopefully it helps it last a little longer.

My toilet was making a whistling noise when refilling after being flushed. I replaced the existing fill valve seal eith this product and the problem resolved. The replacement seal is of good quality and easy to install.

The biggest bargain at Home Depot
I had a toilet that took forever to fill and it seemed that the last 1/8" of tank fill took extra long before it would shut off. Watching the tank refilling take place, there was a lot of water coming out near the top of the fill valve. I watched a couple online videos showing how simple it was to disassemble the fill valve and get to the Fill Valve Seal for removal and replacement. Went to HD and bought one of these for less that $4.00. Replaced the old one and life is good! Thank you HD!

Didnt work, leaked even more than the old valve
Followed all directions but didnt work. I guess we just have to replace whole thing rather then just the valve.

It did fit but it didn’t solve the problem. The fill valve still leaked, could not stop the flow after the tank was filled.

Before installing the replacement seal help soften the it up by soaking it in hot tap water for a minute or 2 and then bend and flex it to help break it in. Sometimes these seals will sit longer than valves do and need some time to break in or need some help doing so that the valve is able to perform properly. Used this to plug up my old little thing on the side. It went in smooth once it got past the wrinkly brown rim. So far so good and keeping out all kinds of foreign matter. It’s rubber and yes, it works ?
