Build quality is decent. Expected smoother drawer slides, may need to be greased. Self closing drawers slides would have been ideal. I let the dresser air out in the garage for a week but still has a strong paint smell.

Found this piece of furniture to be nice looking well constructed & the roller bearing drawers make it so easy to use. Was very impressed with the way the dresser was packed for shipping as it was very well protected by the dunnage that was used & there was not a mark or scratch on it. Have had the dresser for a little over a month now & have not had any problems.

LOVE IT! It totally compares to the higher end furniture which is more than double the price of this one. And not having to assemble is worth it all!

The dresser itself is great for the price, especially since they delivered it to us. The dresser actually came really well packaged with no damage on the box, which makes me think that the damaged drawers were unfortunately shipped that way by the factory. After some significant back and forth with Home Depot and Alpine, I was told you can't just get new drawers unless you bring the entire unit back since it was delivered to my house and not picked up from the store. I happened to get a really attentive employee at Home Depot who helped connect me with Alpine and then Alpine thankfully honored my request and sent me new drawers rather than have me return the entire unit. I did have to do some basic adjustment of the drawer slides myself when they arrived. Ultimately, I was left with a piece of furniture that I like at a price that was fair. I had to jump through a lot of hoops to get here though and I'm not confident that another piece of furniture from Alpine would not have similar issues, nor am I confident that my issue would have been resolved if I were to have a less dedicated Home Depot representative helping me. So, in summary, it could turn out good, but might require a little more work on your part - hence, the 3 star review.

Absolutely love it! Very well made, heavy, drawers are smooth, finish is smooth and perfect. Delivered in a very heavy padded box. I would highly recommend this dresser.

The trim around the drawers is actually a bright orange rather than the matching veneer shown in the product photos. It looks cheap and unfinished. I reached out to customer support on their official site, Alpine Furniture, and they said that it's “as designed.” If it’s as designed, they should update the photos. Even though they claim the drawers are removable, they are not!! Super disappointed that the product doesn’t actually look as pictured.

It is very sturdy (very heavy) and well constructed with nice drawer slides that have a positive closure instead of just friction holding them shut. The drawers all line up nicely. It is darker than pictured. The finish isn't great. I thought it was scratched up in a few places, but it was mostly the clear coat that had left little blobs on the edges that appear white and stand out. I was able to scrape most of that off. Quality piece but not a family heirloom.

Very nice piece of furniture. Goes with night tables I purchased at West Elm. Dresser compliments the night tables in color and style. Very heavy to bring in house! Need strong people to help!

This piece is great! I ordered the dresser and nightstand, and am happy with both. It's heavy, good quality wood. The drawers slide easily on metal rollers. It also arrived quickly considering it’s fully-assembled furniture. I gave it four stars instead of five because I think they look like a darker brown in person than the pictures, but I am still ultimately happy with this purchase.
