Good Dishwasher

The only problem is that it is all plastic and the front has gotten scratched and has two dents in the door. I think that the quality has gone down in this washer. I paid full price for this dishwasher but received low quality product. Before you purchase make sure you are getting your moneys worth.

Cleans well
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The dishwasher works well and cleans great but the legs on the bottom made marks all over my new floor when having to move it in and out to install it. I scrubbed and scrubbed but can’t get it all off.

Super Quiet and Efficient
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this to replace a Whirlpool that was leaking. The Frigidaire was selected wanting one to match other appliances and for top controls. It is very quiet, at times to the point of wondering if working! It cleans and dries the dishes noticeably better than the old one. Only thing do not like is the silverware tray is a little shallow for what used to, but it works.

Design flaw

Aweful
I bought this about 2 months ago and I hate it. The dishes do not come out dry even after all Frigidaire suggests. The soap dispenser doesn’t always open for the soap to come out. It smells before it’s full because it’s always wet in there. It’s also quite loud. Will go out of way to not buy another Frigidaire appliance as they know wet dishes is a known issue and continue to sell the product. I wish I had researched more, but with covid wasn’t able to shop around

Heating element melted bottom of tub.
The heating element has dipped down and melted a hole in bottom of the tub. Frigidaire replaced heating element and tub and within a month it did the same thing.

Great Dishwasher!
We bought this to replace an old outdated white model. It does a good job cleaning everything. Looks great, we've had it a few weeks now and are pleased with its performance. There is no problem with dishes staying wet, just open door when cycle is complete and let steam escape. Delivery was quick and efficient.

2nd Frigidaire appliance dead in 1 year
Relaced four appliances in my kitchen last June 2020 with Frigidaire, including this dishwasher, and two have died as of May 2021. Like other customers the heating coil burnt a hole in the plastic tub which caused massive leaks and ruined flooring. Customer service is a joke and even after completing the steps of an applicable buyback I haven’t heard anything for 2 months— was told we’d receive a prepaid debit card within 4 weeks after submitting request form. Now stove is having electrical issues and heat indicator light is literally blowing up. Going to have to replace these terrible appliances after one year!

Old dishwasher was a lot better
Worst dishwasher have had this for two years now and can’t clean anything or even dry. We have to rinse everything before putting it in the washer, wants the point. Buy something else.

Regarding the dishwasher not drying the dishes, make sure that air dry is not being selected, this will result in wet dishes. For optimum drying performance, using a rinse aid has proven to be helpful. Also try using the Hi-Temp Wash option on the model. During the hi-temp wash option, the dishwasher heats water in the main wash to approximately 140F (60C) and increases the temperature higher in the final rinse. The increased water temperature helps the dishwasher detergent removes food grease and soil from dishes more effectively and aids in drying. Hopefully, this helps. Necessity

Cleans well

Does not dry well
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have had this dish washer a few months now and not a fan. Does not dry that well. All the dishes still and water on them including the tub walls still dripping. I've tryed doing small loads and stuffed loads. Still everything is still wet. Took some pix of a full load and all the water still on everything. I do use jet dry and still no help. This thing is nothing like my old Whirlpool I'm use to. If I don't hand dry and put away have to prop door open to let air dry. Wish I never purchased and stuck with whirlpool.

Disappointed
I purchased this in July and two of the roller on the bottom pull-out drawer came off. I was able to find one and push it back on. Very disappointed in the quality of this Frigidaire

•Dishwasher is noisy.
•No visible buttons give a clean look but no indication where the cycle is at (my fault for choosing the “clean look” vs practical)
•Should have chosen a steam dry option.
•Looks nice.
*I did not read closely re: no power cord and connection hose. Delivery guys assured me there was a power cord. Instructions on top of box don’t indicate need for power cord. Fortunately contractor had both...at an extra cost.
Would not order again, may return depending on cost to return and uninstall.
