Hey Stef01, thank you for submitting your wall oven review. The melting point of aluminum is much lower than that of other metals. Never cover any slots, holes, or passages in the oven bottom or cover an entire oven rack with materials such as aluminum foil. Doing so blocks air flow through the oven and may cause carbon monoxide poisoning. Aluminum foil linings may trap heat, causing a fire hazard. Broiler pans and inserts allow dripping fat to drain away from the high heat of the broiler. Do not cover the broiler insert with aluminum foil; exposed fat and grease could ignite. Do not use aluminum foil to line oven bottom or any other part of the appliance. Only use aluminum as recommended for baking if used as a cover placed on the food. Any other use of protective liners or aluminum foil may result in a risk of electric shock or fire or a short circuit. Do not line the oven walls, racks, bottom, or any other part of the oven with aluminum foil. Doing so will alter heat distribution, produce poor baking results, and may cause permanent damage to the oven interior not covered under warranty. During self-clean temperatures, the oven will be hot enough to melt foil. Only use aluminum foil as recommended in your Owner’s Manual. Thank you for sharing your wall oven review with us, tgu sad. I regret to hear that your wall oven is not working. Is your wall oven plugged onto a GFI outlet? If so, plug it into a non GFI outlet. Is the gas supply turned on? If so, does any part of the oven work (clock, etc.)? If not, please make sure a breaker or fuse has not been tripped. If not, does “Loc” appear in the display if you push any button? If so, the Oven Lockout feature has been activated (press and hold clear/off for 3 seconds to unlock). Does ”sd” or “dddd” appear on the clock display? If so, the clock is in sales demo mode (press and hold the “bake time” button for 6 seconds to exit sales demo mode). Please interrupt power to the wall oven at the breaker box for 3 full minutes and reapply power.
