This was just installed today, but it's been used several times today, and so far I love it. It cooks much faster than the old Quasar that was taken out. The buttons are all simple and intuitive. It seems very well made and solid. Just be careful until you get used to it because it does heat food very quickly. The installation guys were great. Showed up on time and very quickly removed the old micro and installed the new one. I think it took them less than half an hour.

Looks and cooks well, silent exhaust fan!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a month ago to replace another over the stove microwave. I only wish it had 2 stove top lights and a setting for night light. As it is, it only has a range top setting. I’m sure this is because it is a LED instead of an incandescent bulb which I was always replacing in my other units. I certainly hope the LED, inside and out, lasts a lot longer than the others. The installation instructions and provided templates were superb which made for a straightforward installation, which I did myself.

Great microwave

Easy and simple to use!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This microwave does the job! Nothing super fancy but i like how simple it is. I love the “add 30 seconds” button. I use that the majority of the time! The only thing i would change is at the end of the microwave time it beeps and beeps and beeps until you open it! I would love to turn that option off. But overall, we like it!

Very good features at a fair price.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Lots of options, our favorite being the ability to set the beeper on High, Low or Off. Overheated our food for the first few days with punching in the numbers for our old microwave. Also, the keypad likes fast, firm strokes when entering cook time. Loud door 'clunk' when closing but most do that with the sealing required to contain radiation. Easy to install but take care to make sure back clearance to cabinet is correct before lifting unit into place.

we bought the Microwave less than 5 days ago. Microwave was terrible to try an mount. The provided template is made out of paper, it has to be trimmed and they expect you to hang it upside down while drilling holes thru the paper. When i lined up the template directly on top of the microwave the template was off and didnt line up with the holes that were ON the microwave. We had to alter our drill pattern to get it to work, now that its installed we have noticed that the microwave heats things very poorly....our 15 yr old microwave would heat things pretty evenly..this one does not. We put a Burrito in the microwave and the ends were boiling hot and actually got over-cooked while the middle was still cold. We took a second burrito and put it in our old microwave and it warmed it up evenly. I do not recommend this microwave because of its uneven warming and cooking abilities and it is not one that is easily mounted by a novice.

Microwave has swirl marks
Brand new, in my home 2 weeks. Used ONCE. Has swirl marks on exterior surface. Can't wipe it off because despite strictly following the manufactures guidelines for cleaning it's impossible to do without leaving marks. I was horrified when I saw these on the microwave, and more so on the refrigerator. Dishwasher has deep scratch on ext. front door. I keep my house and the furnishings within all in great maintained condition. It makes me sick to look at the condition of these appliances because I don't abuse my furnishings. All appliances placed in my home at the same time. I don't know what happened with these appliances but this can't be right for all 3 surfaces to fail miserably.

Absolute Trash
We purchased this microwave for one of our short term rental properties in Florida and it almost caused a fire. It was only installed for two days when we tried heating up some food. The thing started sparking and filled the entire house with smoke. It took eight calls over two days to Home Depot customer service before I was told they have a 48 hour return/exchange policy and I would have to go directly to the manufacturer to get help. That was the last time I purchased any large appliances @HD

Time cook button very annoying
This microwave is so annoying. You can’t just enter the time you want it to run and press start; you have to press time cook then the time you wanting to run for then start. You can’t even just press the 30 seconds button, you have to press time cook then the 30 seconds button. If you try to enter the time by pressing 1 2 or 3 it will automatically start at 1 minute 2 minutes or 3 minutes. What ever idiot redesigned microwaves to be like this needs to be fired. And because of Home Depot’s horrible return policy I only have 48 hours to return it. Since it is an over the range microwave I have to have someone come help me take it down so I can return it. But the Home Depot installation guys took the box with them so I don’t even know if I can return it without the box. I really really wish stores had microwaves plugged in so customers to test them out before buying. This one is very annoying.

4 years - dead
Have had the same issues as others with blown fuses over the short lifespan of this product - 4 years. This morning, was literally shocked when the microwave arced, blue light coming from the bottom, and it is dead dead dead now. Recommend against this product which has now proven dangerous.

Junk! Avoid this purchase

The microwave started tripping the 20 amp dedicated breaker everytime you opened the door, and now it has died completely. Have only been using it consistently for about 9 months. Have it installed in a 2018 camper but was never used until April of 2022. Disappointing but will have to look at different brands. Stinks when the other appliances are matching frigidaire.

Fuse blown after 3 years, but good microwave

The microwave is overloading the electrical circuit. In other words, the circuit is rated to handle a certain amount of amps (units of electrical current), and the microwave is exceeding that amount, causing the breaker to trip.
There are two possible causes:
• The microwave is malfunctioning and pulling too much electrical current
• You have too many electrical appliances, including the microwave, plugged into the same circuit.
First, you should make sure the microwave has a dedicated circuit. Microwaves pull about 12 amps and need their own dedicated 20-amp circuit. That means they shouldn’t be sharing the circuit with any other appliances. If the microwave currently shares a circuit with other appliances and runs at the same time as those appliances, it’ll quickly overload the circuit and trip the breaker.
