Great Microware! High powered. Great big plate. Fan is powerful and effective. The melting setting is my favorite feature. Two cons Fan is loud and surface light is not led and gets super hot.

My 5yr old Whirlpool microwave quit working, so I decided to try a different brand. The Frigidaire one I was going to get was on back order until October, so decided to go with this one. They installed it this past Saturday and so far it works decent. It is a little loud when it turns on (at least in my case). The electronic display is large bright white print, which is good for me and the mute button is listed as one of the buttons, so that is also good for easy access. The buttons are definitely not sensitive to touch. You for sure have to put effort into the punching the buttons. I noticed from side view, the menu/buttons are not completely smooth and flush. For $308 before install and extended warranty, I guess it will work…. Especially since item cannot be returned Hopefully, it will last a lot longer than the builder grade whirlpool the builder put in.

This replaces a GE profile unit from 2003 that was wonderful. The new unit has good functions and looks great cosmetically but has a few issues that should be pointed out. The handle is very “cheap” feeling and my gut tells me it will eventually break as it is the most handled part of the unit. Also, compared to my old unit, the fan that turns on when one microwaves ( I think it’s designed to keep the control panel cool during cooking) is VERY loud. It seems like a poor design as a bit more insulation or quieter fan is certainly possible in this design. My first experience with the sensor cooking was not great. I reheated some eggplant parmigiana and the unit never shut off. The food got way too hot. It was covered by a specified microwave plate cover with vents but obviously the sensor didn’t register enough steam to function correctly. I’m hoping this will improve the next time I use that function. If not, I’ll be requesting service on the unit. Other than the above, it’s very attractive and has powerful heating and I’m hoping it will give us years of good use.

Love this microwave. Matches our fridge perfectly. Buttons work great, lights are bright, display screen is easy to read.

Does everything I want it to do and it’s very sharp looking

This is the 3rd GE microwave in our home in 23 years. That’s a great life span. Easy to read and use keypad. I like the mute button for sound. Express cook is great. Sensor is helpful. And wall hanger bracket of previous GE microwave fit the new one!

So far I love it, this replaces a GE Avantium microwave/convection that lasted over 20 years. We didn’t use the convection as much as planned so opted for the microwave only this time. Love the extra space inside and easy to use. Hoping for another 20+ years for this one.

Works great. Great solution for 36” opening with the adapter kit. Installers were super also.

This microwave was sudddenly stopped working. By seeing looks good but not working at all. I showed to microwave repair person and instead of repairing, buy new. Past 3 years I used it suddenly stopped.

This microwave is great, especially for the price. I just wish they all could have the SAME mounting brackets so my cupboard doesn’t have so many holes. But the microwave itself works well and is easy to figure out.

Easy to use. Attractive. Clean lines. The inside has clear nonstick sides so it will be easy to keep clean. Many different options

Good microwave however, the glass plate is thinner than they used to be which causes concern. It will break it easier when cleaning. The base inside of the microwave is not smooth, which is not easy to clean and the display is very dark at night. It is not backlit so you can see what’s on it. All in all it’s a good microwave I’ve had it a year.

It is very similar to the previous one we had but we definitely like the 4 speed fan. Also like the dark interior and light inside.

Purchased as a replacement for a similar GE microwave that lasted 23 years. We hope this one lasts as long! Very happy with this microwave. It looks good. Quick installation. No issues after 4 months. Works well. We like all the new features - beverage, reheat, steam clean, potato, etc. We needed a top venting model and there were very few to choose from - so this one is perfect for us. The only very minor issue is the timer - we wish it could be adjusted to be louder! We recommend.

Was easy to install with the excellent installation instructions. It runs quietly and effectively! The features are amazing!

Only briefly used to reheat a dish, powerful heats quickly. Replacing GE Spacemaker XL which lasted over 15 years. Only issue it took over three weeks to receive it

Works great except the light under the microwave oven does not light up the range cooktop area very well. Really could use a larger wattage bulb.
