Very happy with it so far had my other one for many years

My kitchen space needed this exact size and it took 4+ weeks to arrive after the order, but after one month of use, it looks and operates beyond expectations. This refrigerator replaced a 21+ year old GE model that was still going strong, but I recently upgraded all of my kitchen appliances to stainless steel, so I bought this to match. The interior LED lighting really makes the food stand out. The movable shelving both in the refrigerator box and in the freezer makes it easy to configure for my purposes. I called GE because the owner's manual didn't have any requirement for vacuuming the coils and was told that modern technology has eliminated the need for that sort of maintenance. All in all, a nice presentation and a fine product. Maybe this one will also last 20+ years.

This refrigerator suits our needs very well in our smaller 1942 kitchen! We love the features that it offers!

Efficient fridge and very well known brand, i've always used

We previously had a GE refrigerator that lasted 30 years with no problems so wanted to replace with a GE. It has just been installed but it cooled pretty quickly, runs quiet, and looks great!

It's a lot smaller on the inside than my old one with the same dimensions.

Just installed. Looks great. So far, so good. Just the right size for me and my dog.

We replaced our Kenmore refrigerator of twenty years,restricted on height,and based upon research this was an excellent choice.

Love the color black; the door shelf has lots of room; wish there was more room on the regular shelf; i run out of room there. This GE fridge measure bigger then old fridge; but older fridge had more room in it. How ever i love the lighting it has when i open the door.

We had to replace our problematic Whirlpool which required tech service too often in the last 4 years. We were space limited and we have an old house and this model GE fit with room to spare while providing capacity of a larger model. The stainless steel option gave a sleeker and more modern look.

Overall, this is a great basic fridge. It has modern good looks and fits in tiny spaces. We have quite possibly the smallest kitchen in the US so, that last bit was the most important feature for us. I appreciated the fact it's not covered in branding - I even left off an optional tag to retain clean lines. Nice. Features are quite basic but function well. The sliding-position drawer was a cool novelty but, it's rarely, if ever, used in our household. My only complaint is the position of the control panel in the center, above of the top shelf. It seems like this is a super common feature among several brands, to have a descending "bump" to hold the controls up-front. While it IS handy for initial setup, it's frankly a bit in the way for day-to-day use. I'd much rather see the controls mounted on the back wall because, let's face it - you shouldn't NEED to change the controls all that often, if ever. I haven't touched the controls since initial setup. But this is a tiny sticking point, admittedly. The stainless steel finish is nice but needs cleaning often, because every spot will be visible. But is this a bad thing? I personally demand a spotless kitchen anyway. The recommended cleaner is a bit greasy for my taste. I would like to see a different approach on the stainless finish in this regard. But I will say, it fits seamlessly in with other brand appliances we own. That's a nice touch and much appreciated.

I have a 30 in opening and this unit fits perfectly. The fridge section has multiple height selections for the shelves as does the crisper unit that can slide from left to right to suite your needs. I only wish the freezer was larger and came with a light for night time raiding. Other then that it's a great little unit.

This fridge is exceedingly loud and we may have to replace it. The design of the plastic housing over the fan seems to create turbulence which then results in noise: this must be part of the problem. It is an embarrassing design.

Wish they kept the bottom shelf on the door. Not sure why that wasn't an option like most others. Also wish I could find one just a bit bigger but they don't make it. Overall, not a bad fridge for the money.

I am extremely disappointed that there is a plastic plug covering the hole provided for an alternative handle. It looks ridiculous and completely cheapens the appearance of this fridge. If aesthetics matters to you, don't buy this fridge!

I am definitely sold on the quality of GE Appliances. I bought a stove a few months ago that I absolutely love. I am very disappointed in the plastic plug on the front door that covers the hole to allow for a reversible handle on the fridge. Aesthetics are very important to me and I don't like the look of that at all.

This fridge will do. For this smaller size (couldn't get one to fit my built-in space) it has space and moveable bins. Overall, it looks cheaply made. The screws holding doors together show. The doors "clunk" shut. AND...THERE'S NO LIGHT in the top freezer! Very disappointing lack of feature. It is, of course, the 21st century so I didn't think to ask!

Delivery and installation sucked. Delivery personnel refused to install handles. They said they were not permitted to install the handles even though we were told when we paid the extra money for a complete installation. No mounting screws, decal or plugs came with the refrigerator. Been waiting since the 17th of Nov. for parts. Rec'd two screws today (12/7) still not enough to mount handles.
