So far so good. Stainless steel interior makes the dishwasher look sharp. Inside racks could be a bit stronger but seems like a decent unit.

I love my new dishwasher its slick and beautiful and very efficient washing the dishes.

I really love my new dishwasher. It’s not noisy at all and it washes good; however, I’m still trying to learn some of the features. It’s so quiet you can barely hear it.

The wheels on the bottom rack have a tendency to detach from the rack. I’ve had to reattach them multiple times. They must have knocked loose again when I started my dishwasher today. My house began to smell like burnt plastic and when I opened the dishwasher my eyes began to burn immediately, as if I had walked into fire, but there was no fire, smoke or even steam coming out of the dishwasher. The plastic rollers had fallen onto the heating element and melted during the cycle. The chemical fumes from the melted plastic literally burned my eyeballs, I feel discomfort every time I blink, it’s what I imagine sunburned eyes feel like. Other than the constant malfunctioning bottom rack, we’ve liked our dishwasher.

It's quiet, efficient and effective on cleaning spotfree dishes

We just moved into our new house. We are not very pleased with our dishwasher. Even if i clean on HEAVY it does not get the dishes clean.

We have been without a dishwasher for 7 years. I’m so happy with my purchase and how well it works.

Dishwasher is turning off and on on its own after just 5 years using at most once a week. Horrible quality. There should be a recall on this unit! Model # GDT655SFL5DS. Very dissatisfied with product. Bought as a package and microwave is starting to fail as well. 5 yrs old mind you. Will never by GE again.

We have had our new dishwasher for about a month and love it so far! It is so much quieter and faster than our old Whirlpool dishwasher. I love the bottle jets on the top rack and the jets in the silverware holder - no more dirty water bottles or silverware!

Doesn’t clean dishes & glasses. Interfere with disposal

I love my new stainless steel dishwasher. It's so quiet I hardly know it's running. The top extra tray is wonderful for utensils & knives. The bottle jets section does a fantastic job in cleaning. I love the different options for washing top bottom or both, boosting the h2o temp and easy to load silver ware tray. I'm completely satisfied plus the stainless steel just sets off the kitchen decor.

Already breaking down. Bought last November 12. Of course one year and few days old.

Great dishwasher cleans and dries fantastically! Super quiet and has a large capacity.

The new GE dishwasher has new jet features that keeps the bottles clean inside and the silverware holder has the extra jets for great cleaning. Love the third tray for extra long utensils.

Dishes come out sparkling and most of all it’s very quiet.

One of the brackets keeps coming off almost every time we pull the bottom rack out.

The first dishwasher was missing a part on the bottom. The second dishwasher had a leak in the tub. The third one had a tube that was not connected correctly but we were able to clamp and zip tie it. This one is good. It’s quiet and cleans well. I would prefer it dries better. I wanted it because it comes in slate.

Works just as good as higher priced models. Ease of use and very quite.

Soon after the warranty expired, the flashing along the front of the control panel separated and fell off. The soft plastic spacers at either end of the door handle both cracked and fell off. Now the handle flops loosely and the unit looks like crap. Home Depot’s installers were incompetent and it required three visits and a repair technician to get a functional installation. We will never buy an appliance from Home Depot or from GE ever again.

I have had issues with this dishwasher for about 3 months. I bought the dishwasher in August and had it installed mid August. I decided to give it a few months to see if the issue was just temporary but now three months into ownership, the issue continues and seems to be getting worse. The problem with this model is the pod dispenser opens but does not drop into the washer and at the conclusion of the wash cycle, all or part of the pod is still in the opened dispenser. The partial pod will fall into the bottom of the dishwasher or on dishes. This results in running the dishwasher again needlessly using water and electricity for a second wash. There’s no rinse only so I’m rehashing to remove the detergent and residue on my dishes. This is very inconvenient and a nuisance. I am writing this as I register my product and prepare to contact service to have this issue resolved. I regret the purchase. I have taken pictures of the pod after the wash to show what is happening with the dishwasher dispensing.

This dishwasher is so quiet and it cleans everything so beautifully. I love the control options.

The dishwasher has 3 drawers, but limits the height of everyday items you can place in because of this. I actually find the top one for more delicate items pretty useless because it really can’t be more than about 3” in height. Also, the wheels on the bottom drawer frequently fall off because there’s no track for it to stay on when you are sliding it out to unload. The house smelled awful and I was shocked when I opened the dishwasher and smelled the most godawful burning smell. The wheel had fallen off and was burning on the bottom of the dishwasher. So now I have to replace that for a new one, but the design challenge remains.

Absolutely the best dishwasher I’ve ever owned. Extremely quiet, easy to load, specialty organization of bottom rack, bottle washer is awesome. Recommend this dishwasher

Great expectations but doesn’t work. Waiting for GE tech to replace a circuit board. Brand new new dishwasher.

Very quiet and efficient dishwasher. We have been testing its abilities by not prewashing! Although it is a hard habit to break this dishwasher does a great job getting off even dried on food. There are a ton of wash options to fit any need. We do have to use the dry boost when there is a lot of plastic ware inside or they just don't get dry enough. Very happy to have this feature now!
