Fabulous fridge!
My 15-year old plus refrigerator started was showing its age. I knew it would be hard to replace it due to the color (bisque). My current fridge’s brand no longer produced refrigerators in bisque unfortunately, but GE did! I had to wait several months for delivery due to the pandemic (and had to baby my old fridge along until delivery), but it was so worth the wait! The new fridge is a little wider but fit into the space like a glove. Food/freezer keeps the perfect temperature and I now have an ice maker that works all the time, not just some of the time, and the gorgeous bisque color matches all my other appliances and kitchen cabinets! I’m thrilled!

Paint is peeling
I only owned this refrigerator for a month and the painted side of the stainless steel is peeling off.

Cramped for space
The inside lighting is poor. The refrigerator side is very cramped, requiring produce to be piled on top of each other. The water dispenser is too short—doesn’t fit a sports bottle.

Shelves keeps falling down
The shelves in the freezer looks like they fit until you stack your food. They don’t hold much without falling down. Not sure where to get the shelves to buy without replacing the entire refrigerator.

Too tall!
The refrigerator is very nice, but being an Energy Star appliance, the lighting inside is very dim. I do like the configuration of the shelves and drawers - plenty of room for everything. It was not true to size and did not fit in my space. I had to hire a handy man to saw off part of the overhead cabinet to get it to fit. It is still a very tight fit. I would have liked to get it in bisque instead of white to match my other appliances.

Love the size of the door holds 2 gallons of milk
Just got it, love it so far. I like that I has 3 drawers instead of two so I have a deli drawer. I am changing from a bottom freezer fridge. Boy was it hard to clean the bottom of a bottom freezer!! I know this goes to the floor but at least I can reach in to clean!

Excellent refrigerator

Great Refrigerator
I am very pleased with this refrigerator. I had a refrigerator with the freezer underneath previously. All my frozen food would get smashed and never seemed to fit right. Everything fits nicely and I still have more room. Works very well. I am pleased with it thus far.

Beautiful and functional
Last week we bought a Frigidaire refrigerator. Within 2 days it completely dies and leaked water everywhere from ice melting. We went to another store and chose this GE side by side. It came today and it's nicer than I remember. It features tons of shelves and doors. The inside has a nice streamline look. It's cooling down already. I'm so glad the Frigidaire died and I had the opportunity to buy this one. It's so much nicer. ❤❤❤❤❤❤

It’s a great refrigerator
I love the space of this refrigerator. It keeps and maintains the food good. It used to defrost once a week but I haven’t seen it work, however it does make a weird noise for about 15-20 minutes.

Low quality handle
We bought this new GE refrigerator two years ago. Now, the handle just broke. The connection part for the handle and the body is just a low quality plastic material.

Great replacement
We received our new fridge after a wait of 2 months due to Covid backlog.
Well worth the wait. The fridg side has a lot of room and flexibility in shelves and size of door shelves also. Lighting inside is bright and glass shelves help. The display panel is easy to use and can set temp by degree and not just a number. The handles are large and doors are very light and easy to open.
One con is the freezer and it’s lack of shelves that are adjustable and the bottom bin has a low front and has a lot of distance between basket front and next shelve. Makes it hard to stack bags of veg. or other items ( fall over / see pic ).
