Phenomenal fridge
I love this fridge. I’m blow Away by how quiet it is. I had my last fridge for 18 years, so I have very high expectations for this one. I love GE products.

      I’m happy with my purchase of this appliance. The interior space and height of shelves works great for having an organized fridge. The refrigerator doors have great seals and the freezer compartment offers great storage as well.

            Highly functional
            The fridge was easy to install and we were able to get it up and running quickly. Love the openness of the top and the accessibility of the freezer.

              Irritating issues for a nice refrigerator/freezer
              We like the new refrigerator but we are having trouble with frost building up on the freezer drawer, and the ice maker is very loud when dispensing ice. The biggest visual nuisance is removing the protective plastic coating on all of the stainless steel. The protective plastic can not be removed entirely because it extends under all of the mounting brackets and the plastic tears instead of just peeling away. Whoever designed this protective plastic should have made sure it only mounted to the exposed stainless steel so that it could be removed entirely.

                Samsung have done it again
                Absolutely fantastic, it’s the best we have ever had, both design and function give the impression that it was designed by a woman with practical in use experience and flair. Men just wouldn’t get it 🤔👍

                  Great fridge
                  So far so good. 2months old. Fridge and freezer work really well. Had the inside water version of this and really hated that feature, so swapped it for this and having the water on the outside is so much better. Something I would have liked, is after I select ice I would like the selector to return to water after maybe 5-10 seconds without use. Too often my kids get ice and I forget to check... Overall very satisfied.

                    We’re in Love
                    We’ve only had our new refrigerator a month or so, but we are really happy with it! We looked and researched extensively and it was larger than we wanted, but it still fits beautifully. It is so roomy and well planned and well lit. The freezer has so much more space than any we looked at, in addition to the tons of fridge space. The ice maker is a little noisy at first, but it’s quieter now. Very nice looking and easy to wipe smudges with just a damp cloth. GE really is made so solidly and well, we may never need another one! Love it!

                      Great size and layout
                      We are a family of 6. I love that my kids' snacks and juice boxes for nicely in the large drawer and they have easy access to healthy snacks. The fridge offers plenty of space as does the freezer!

                        Ice maker
                        I still have a horrible smell that comes from my ice maker. It has been changed once by the GE service provider but it still has the smell and the light on the front of the refrigerator that says replace filter has never gone off. Lights up every time I get ice. Other than that I love it

                            Nice frig but has some drawbacks
                            This frig is a replacement for one we had that had some issues. I’m not being sarcastic but I think a male designed it as a woman wouldn’t have made the shelves in the door so wide that you can’t find things as products are 3 deep. You also are limited on shelf adjustment and not much organization in the freezer. I wish the bottom drawer in the fridge was a split drawer as you have to open both doors to get it open.

                                  Love the large water dispenser
                                  Unfortunately, our GE of 16 years stopped working and we had to get a new fridge. This is the same newer model of what we had previously. I really like how they relocated the ice-maker in this one and all of the space inside. One of the best new features on this refrigerator is the extra space to fill up your water cups. Since this is our main source of where we get water, the way that they enlarged this made it the selling point for us.

                                    Excellent appliances
                                    Loving this appliance I never owned a new appliance. I’ve always bought used in other words I’ve always bought someone else’s problems .. I don’t think I’m ever buying used again .. pricing is decent, works like a dream thank you GE I liked this item so much I also bought 2 other GE appliances The range (stove) and their newest washer/dryer all in one combo … thumbs up on all three items …..

                                            This was delivered June 20 and so far so good. Our old one Kenmore Elite’s compressor went out so we decided to buy this one. It resembled our old one so we felt like we got pretty much the same one. I also heard GE parts are easier to buy. We bought the extra ice maker for the bottom freezer. Still waiting for it to be delivered. Its been about two weeks. Our old refrigerator doors would shut automatically if we just bumped them closed but these you have to push all the way shut. Over all Im happy.

                                              Great product, but the inside is starting to freeze. So 5 years without issues is pretty good, I just hope the repair call doesn’t make me cry. $$

                                                Terrible experience, need replacement or exchange!
                                                We have had the refrigerator since December, I wished I had asked to return it then. It does not make much ice (not 100-130 cubes in 24 hours as stated!), the water from the dispenser is warm, and now the FREEZER TEMP IS 30-38.5. With the freezer door shut for a significant period of time! We scheduled service, but I am terribly disappointed! In addition, the doors are super heavy and do not close with ease.

French refrigerators, like this one, have a water reservoir coil in the fresh food section that cools 16 oz. of water. The water is chilled and stored until it is needed. Since the reservoir is in the fresh food section, the water will not be ice-cold. Your icemaker will produce approximately 3.6 lbs. of ice per day. Since your icemaker does not seem to be producing the normal amount of ice, we would encourage you to keep your service appointment in place so one of our certified technicians can resolve the issue.                                                   Great Family Fridge
                                                  This product is just a few days since insulation, but I wanted to write a review to let people know a few things. It’s going to take 24 hours to get cold, especially the freezer, so don’t get scared if it takes a while. The water filter is charcoal so it comes out black at first — don’t freak! Just run a bucket of it and dump. Don’t use the first few rounds of ice either (water sitting in your hose). The space is AMAZING for a big family. Super smart storage solutions. Ice maker in the door is a huge win. We didn’t buy the second ice maker but could totally if we wanted to in the future. We’re very happy with this purchase so far. Oh also — the fridge makes normal fridge noise. It sounds totally normal to us.

                                                    Nice fridge. My only two complaints are that it doesn’t make enough ice and the dispenser shoots the crushed ice around the cup.

                                                          Bad QC - Fridge won't cool
                                                          Awful experience with this refrigerator. We've had it two months now and I always suspected something has been wrong with it. Starting off with the recommended setting of 37 deg F it wouldn't keep food, milk, yogurt cold enough in the fridge. We noticed the yogurt going bad quickly. I adjusted the fridge to the lowest 34 deg setting and it would barely keep the interior 40-41 deg F, even when closed up for 8-10 hrs. Finally we scheduled a GE Repair visit as now that it's getting warmer the fridge couldn't maintain below 44 deg F (again while set to be 34 deg in the fridge). A great repair man came out today who was very nice, they connected up to the diagnostic equipment and turns out our brand new fridge is leaking refrigerant. Yup, 2 months old and it's been leaking from new with a factory defect. They couldn't find the source of the leak so they charged it and we're told in 2 weeks they'll have parts to replace and see if that fixes the leak. If that doesn't fix the leak we'll go from there. Get back home 6-8 hrs from the fresh charge on the refrigerant and now the fridge is WARMER! It's been on the "turbo cool" setting all day, and set again to it's lowest setting and now our fridge is 46 deg and all our food is spoiling. I would think a $3k fridge should perform better than this, so let down by GE! Also I noticed our electrical bill was much higher last month, no doubt due to the fridge running all the time trying to cool when it can't because the refrigerant is low. Extremely disappointed, wouldn't go with GE again (just replaced ALL kitchen appliances with matching GE....) Our ugly White 10 year old refrigerator worked great, bad choice upgrading to this one....
