The choice of codes needed to program your specific device is extensive, so chances are that yours is there. One remote control for several devices is very convenient.

I thought that this was able to be used on 4 different TVs and not 4 different devices so I misunderstood that part and was a bit disappointed but other than that, I'm happy with it and it works fine.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My home is full of TV junkies and movie buffs. There is not a movie or TV series that comes out that my family doesn’t watch. We have every device you can think of from out TV to cable internet DVR,roku sound bar surround system, and a fire stick. You name it we have it in out home. With so many devices we have way to many remotes and they are always getting lost since the kids never put them back where they belong. I decided to find a remote that would allow me to use one remote to control everything in the living room. I searched for months and I finally found the best universal remote ever. I swear this remote has made things so much easier in my home.the remote is super simple to use and easy to navigate that we had it figured out less then a hour. This one remote helped eliminate 4 different remotes we were using for the TV (apps Netflix, Hulu, Disney) cable, DVR, home theater and our blue ray.player. This remote allows you to program up to 4 devices so that you only have to use the one remote verses using several remotes. I really like how all of the lights on the remote light up a bluish color when you press them. It’s such a gorgeous color and it looks amazing against the matte black on the remote. I also like how they Color coordinated the A button yellow, B blue, C red and D green. That really helped us learn what the buttons were for really easy and helps remember them by color or letter. If you need to tell someone which button to push to work what features it makes it easy for them to know exactly which button your talking about . Plus it looks really nice. The remote is the perfect size it fits in your hand perfectly. They buttons are spread out far enough and big enough that you are able to press the right button and not hit more then one button at a time. The fact you can control 4 devices with one remote is genius. Especially when switching devices the volume isn’t always the same so you have to grab another remote to turn the volume up or down on the tv or the home system. With this remote the volume button works for all of the devices you have programmed into the remote. The remote only needs 2 AAA batteries which is a big plus in my opinion. Instead of having to replace 10 batteries for 4 remotes you only have to replace batteries in one remote. To me that is a great thing. It is saving me money in the long run. The buttons on this remote are easy to push they do not stick at all. What I really like is the way GE included instructions with the remote but they also provide a code library list that helps you learn how to use the remote by watching a video. I am a visual learner I need to watch to learn how to do something. The video was a major help. The instructions are super easy to read and easy to follow the buttons in the remote are all labeled Perfectly from your TV, cable, DVD, audio buttons to the input button they are all d and easy to read. I had no clue GE made remotes let alone remotes this amazing. I have always bought appliances from GE and had great experiences with my washer, dryer and fridge. So that I decided to give their remote a chance. I am so glad I took a chance because this remote has made things so much easier for our family with all of our devices. The fact I can control everything from one small remote is truly amazing. We not only have this remote in the living room we now also have one in the family home theater area also. Going from 4 remotes to 1 was the best thing ever. I love my home to look nice and tidy. When I had 4 remotes it looked cluttered having them all sitting on the table just wasn’t cutting it for me. This one small remote looks so nice and it doesn’t take up much room at all. It is so much easier to keep track of just one remote. The remote is really light weight also which is surprising since the remote controls so much yet it is small and lightweight. If your sick of all the clutter of a bunch of remotes get this one. No more using the tacky looking cable remotes. Go get one of these GE pro 4 device backlit big Button universal remote. You will thank me later! You will not be disappointed at all. Just the technology that this little remote has is truly amazing. This universal remote is a great GE product. In this is why I will always buy GE products over any other brand first. I highly recommend this remote. You will truly be happy with your purchase.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This remote is honestly pretty nice, it’s button’s are easy to see especially with the soft blue backlit feature. I was a little disappointed in the fact that this said it was a big button remote. Granted the buttons are slightly larger than a normal remote but not by much, I was hoping the buttons would of been a little bigger. Not a complete deal breaker but this is why I took a star off the review. This remote is exactly as described as far as being universal. It was super easy to set up to my Samsung tv, dvd, and sound bar with the provided codes. I have not had any issues with it disconnecting from any of the devices I have it connected too. Overall I am very happy with this remote and I would recommend this remote for someone who needs a universal remote to connect a few of their devices.

The Pro 4 Device Backlit Big Button Universal Remote offers all of the features I use on my fancy remotes & puts them into a single unit with big buttons yet in a size that still fits comfortably in my hand. Programming it was a breeze & the backlit feature is fantastic! I no longer have to count "4 down and 2 to the right" while hubby sleeps to find the menu button like I did on my old remote :) I've already dropped it a few times and it hasn't affected the performance at all. 5 Stars all the way!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this for a TV and its great to have an extra remote. All the buttons work perfectly. It is a bit chunky feeling but I don't mind it too much. Its also great how its backlight for watching TV at night

It helps pull it all together and make it a home theater instead of a mess. Lovwe the backlighing for when it's dark. Love the big buttons because I am old and kind of blind. Great product that really helps.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The GE universal remote is a simple set up multi device remote. The buttons are easy to read and the remote sits in your hand comfortably. I myself am not someone who works electronics with ease. However, the set up instructions make it simple to find your device code and take you step by step through the process. The fact that multiple devices can be hooked to the same remote makes it less confusing to know which remote works which device.

The buttons are a little confusing till you get used to it, but everything works as it should.I would recommend this to someone needing one.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When a TV remote was lost while moving, I decided to try a generic, universal remote (rather than purchase the branded remote from the television manufacturer). The GE Pro 4 remote is nice because the backlight feature makes it visible/usable in low-light situations and because the function buttons align with the way that I use my television. For my personal use (I typically watch NetFlix, HULU, etc) I could have done well with fewer buttons (I have no need for the numeric buttons) but, the remote functions well and provides me quick access to the TV features that I do use. I can't say that there are any features that separate this remote from those of other manufacturers but, I'm hopeful that the GE brand means that some durability/quality distinguishes this remote from the generic providers.

I really love the big, backlit button feature! It's really helpful for us "older" folk. Very easy to set up and use too. The best is that I'm down to one remote now, instead of three. Easy to use, easy to read. What more can one want?!

We have a lot of different devices in our living room and I don’t like having 10 different remotes laying around. With this I can have it in one and it’s easy to use. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I first opened this and saw the long list of programming codes, I was a bit overwhelmed and thought it was going to take a long time to sync my TV, Blu-ray player and sound bar. Luckily, I was pleasantly surprised at how easy it was. I think they must list the codes in the most common order for each brand, because the first listed code worked on all three of my devices. I was also impressed that I’m able to access every function of my smart TV, including settings and all the apps…just the same as using the remote that came with my TV. I absolutely love being able to control everything with one remote. No more cluttered pile of remotes on the coffee table!

The manufacturer provided both written instructions and a URL code to access YouTube video instructions. The unit is sturdy, light weight and a good size. The unit has a backlighting to make it easy to see during your "theatre light" movie showings.

This remote has two set up options one to manually key in codes for equipment and one option to filter through the codes automatically. I was only able to set up my cable box to work with this remote I tried a few times but couldn't get it to work with other electronics

There are a lot of buttons which can make it feel a bit overwhelming for some. I loved the backlight colors. It made the remote exciting! I would definitely recommend this product to my friends.

YES you heard me correct, you can set this up to 4 different devices. I love that it comes with a code book so you don't have to go looking for codes. It lights up with LED lights so you can see it!

Came with clear instructions and a long list of codes for programming my devices. It worked with my ancient DVD/VCR unit and my flat screen. The remote is light and very thin, like my smart phone, but lighter and narrower So far, I'm loving it. We was needing a new one for the bedroom..This is a great remote. I highly recommend.

You can operate up to 4 different audio and video components. I just have a TV and DVD player on mine. It has a master volume control, which is nice. I would recommend this remote!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have gone through a # of remotes and hoped this would be the one! Sorry to say it's not. I didn't like the thinness of the remote in the hand. It is very light weight but the buttons have a weird feel and some click when pressed. The LED back lit buttons are blue to look at in the dark, but the lighting is uneven an the labeling is black and hard to make out. Programing is typical, easy if your code is in the large list of devises. I do think there are other remotes more suitable for my needs.
