Hi - We are so sorry to hear about the difficulty you are having when trying to pair the Chef Connect feature. We recommend pressing the Bluetooth Connect button on your cooktop first and then press and hold the Chef Connect button on the hood for three seconds. Once pairing is complete the word "donE" will be displayed. If you continue to have difficulty, we recommend calling GE Appliances Service at 1-800-432-2737 to schedule an appointment for service.
