Stopped working period
We had the range installed when we moved into our new home in Nov 2020 and three months later it stops working. No lights, no air suction period nothing. It will take close to a month to have GE come out and look at it and who knows how long to replace it.

Poor quality
For the price the quality of this range hood is poor. The appliance vibrates and loud on High / Boost fan settings. Called in GE technician who after checking the range hood informed that the the vibration is
normal for this model. That is unacceptable to me.

It Works!
We had this hood installed in our new home and immediately had a loud rattling noise when turning the speed form medium to high! The installing company was quick to replace it with a new cone in working condition. WE have no complaints since. We like the low profile look. (not noticeable)

Impressive
Love the look, features, easy to operate, quite at low fan speed, and overall quality of the unit. We also use it as a night light for the kitchen, since it uses low voltage LED lights. Only thing I would have suggested as needed would be if lights swiveled a little to focus on areas being used. But otherwise perfect!

Poor quality
My hood is allowing undesirable odors to come in from outside, I've contacted GE service to check the damper. Dampers are supposed to prevent undesirable air backflow. The first and replacement hoods all arrived damaged, not do to shipping but do to poor quality.

Wonderful update!
This replaced a 34 year old GE hood that has served us well. The new hood is quieter, nicer looking, and has beautiful lighting that the old hood lacked.

Remote feature solved the problem
Had a very difficult fit and a custom cabinet that limited control access on most vents. This GE vent was the answer to all the problems- works great!

On different subject: the appliance installation company, recommended by HD, was very unsatisfactory - it took three tries to get the hood installed correctly.

Lights & vent!!!
I love the look of this hood! Changed out all of the kitchen appliances; this was the last to be delivered. The lights are nice and bright. The vent removes all of the heat and odors. I love this hood.

Poor fan efficiency
The construction of this vent hood is such that air is only really pulled in through one side of the hood. It would be better with either a second fan, or with a plenum box to be able to draw air through the entire surface (not just half of it).

Sleek looks, well made
We just got and installed our hood a day ago, to replace our old hood that had served us for 24 years. Overall, it's put together well and looks very attractive in the space.
The design location of the fan could be better, however. It's positioned solidly on the left side of the unit, so the draw on the right side is limited. We'll see how this plays out as we use the hood going forward.

Easy to install. Powerful exhaust that you can't even put it max because the whole kitchen is shaking. Seriously, the medium setting is good enough to suck the smoke/odor out of your kitchen.
