Hi Kerry, thank you for the feedback. We have thought about interlocking keys between pieces but decided against it because it would significantly increase the installation time and difficulty. Anytime you reduce the size of a panel, you would have to recreate the keys perfectly to fit into the next panel. Sorry to hear our sample did not meet your expectations. The "white colored sublayer" you are referring to is not worn down or scuffed off, our panels are hand painted and the white is intentional as it mimic's real stone. The panels are also actually quite durable, while you can scratch it intentionally, we have conducted many durability tests including throwing our panels off a second story balcony and running them over with a truck, both of which GenStone was undamaged. In the end, we hope you find the right material for your project and hope if possible, you may reconsider GenStone.

Khari, our panels are stored in a protected environment, there shouldn't be any dust on them. You are correct however, the panels are waterproof, so you can hose them off now as well as when they are on your home. Thank you for choosing GenStone for your project.

Hi Kear, thank you for considering GenStone for your project. Our panels are actually quite durable, I encourage you to watch our life-tested video series where we run our panels over with a Ford truck, toss our panels off the top of our office building, and hit them with a sledgehammer, I think your opinion may change. In the event the panels are damaged, they can be easily repaired with our eXact color caulking and paint.
