Love the look and they seem to work well, but we got two and one won’t sync independently. Frequently one remote will operate both fans even though our electrician tried to sync them individually.

It’s very expensive for the design also it doesn’t come with a controller for the wall that’s a special order that cost $80 and is on backorder till January.

I this is my very first review I’ve ever done. I’m very impressed with the 88 inch Monte Carlo fan, absolutely love the look, color, quietness. It is absolutely perfect for out vaulted ceilings with a long down rod to match.

Very happy with the fan. My only problem is that I am not able to get it balanced with a 48" downrod. I have tried numerous things including the fan balancing weights that come with it, but I simply cannot get it balanced.

Bought 2 fans for a 1300 sq ft porch and believe me they move some air around and are visually extremely attractive

Purchased 3 of these a few years back and recently wanted to install smart fan controls. NOPE! Can't do it! Spoke to the manufacturer, and they don't provide ANY way to use anything other than their own remote controls, which are seriously low quality. I gladly would shell out $50 to put some kind of adapter into the head of the fan to allow me to use a normal wall control, but they don't have a solution. Seems like every other fan company out there allows you to use whatever wall control you want, but with Monte Carlo it's proprietary since they have DC motors. Also worth mentioning, the manual is pretty poor - bad english throughout which tells me that this company isn't US-based without even needing to research that (though they obviously have an office in the US). I should also mention that the controller leaves you barely any room in the head of the fan when you're doing the installation, which makes it an additional pain.

The fan is beautiful - very small motor unit and looks very attractive installed. Unfortunately the motor unit was dead on arrival. Per instructions on the box I contacted Monte Carlo - terrible wait time to get connected. Once I explained the problem I was forwarded to technical support and had to wait again only to explain the issue again.They only suggested to replace the receiver, gave me a part number and was told to contact Home Depot. They did note that motor unit is not a replaceable part which is unfortunate considering the price point of this fan. Thankfully Home Depot's customer service was much better and allowed me to return or exchange.
