Instructions very hard to follow and even 6.8" mailbox does not match the standard 4x4" wooden post. I am still working to install the mailbox correctly.

It wasn't a problem installing it. It the cheap magnet on the door lid. If knew it had that magnet I would of not bought it.

This mailbox is perfect. I wanted one that wasn’t too big and would latch easily. The magnetic catch is great. The price was reasonable too.

Seems to be well built, but time will tell. When I unpacked the two boxes I bought (one for the neighbor who shares a post), corners at the bottom of the box were bent. This is not a big deal and were easily straightened in my wood-jaw vise. They keep the mail dry and I like the magnetic doors.

This is a very nice mailbox and the color is great. We have mailboxes up but they got pretty damaged by some teenagers going around destroying people's property so we have to put up new ones. Very easy to install and very heavy duty. Didn't take long to put the address on and mount it to the post and it looks great. The box closes well and everything works on it.

Excellent looking well built mailbox. I got this mailbox to replace the one the county snow plow drivers have destroyed over the past few months. Thus far the solid construction of this mailbox is holding up to the demands of the job on my street. Installation was quite simple with the provided instructions if needed; it is a straight forward install the most basic DIYer could handle. Only draw back for me was that I had to provide my own mounting screws...probably because the manufacturer does not know the needs of every install. Not a huge deal just an FYI for those looking or needing to replace a mailbox. It looks great too...of course that matters more to my wife than it does to me but nevertheless it is true, my neighbor even asked me where I got it so he could do his as well.

I received this mailbox quickly. Packaging was good, no damage. This is a nice looking, well made, heavy duty mailbox. The rich gun metal gray finish looks like it will last for many years. The door is re-enforced with heavy duty alignment tabs on the sides and a strong magnetic latch which works great. The magnet bracket is double riveted to the top of the box. The door handle is very easy to grip and appears to be a high quality plastic. The front opening of the mailbox has a heavy steel re-enforcement strap held with 6 rivets to prevent deformation. The aluminum flag moves easily and has a detent that holds the flag up nicely. The flag is secured by an adjustable tapered plastic pin with teeth to hold it in position. If for some reason the flag needs to be repaired or replaced, it can be removed without tools. This flag, being aluminum could be easily bent back into shape if damaged, unlike a plastic one that would just break. The only minor observation would be that the top edge of the flag is very sharp as it appears that the metal is cut after painting. This could be easily remedied with sandpaper or a fine file.
