I needed a new mailbox, so I ordered on for like 30 bucks. I installed it exactly where the old one was. Meanwhile I started getting emails from Home Depot asking me to review the product. I kept deleting them, but low and behold today I got one and realized the mailbox is amazing. Sure it's a couple pieces of metal that cost like 30 bucks, but it's so awesome I inspired to give it 5 stars. Sure after I installed it I completely forgot about it and probably would have never thought about it again in my life and at first all Home Depot's follow-up emails were annoying, but now i acknowledge I was wrong. it takes courage to admit one's mistakes. Thanks Home Depot for all the emails about a piece of metal!

I had been looking for a couple of years for an exact match to my existing mailbox. I found that box at Home Depot. Same size,same style and same color (white), and metal. I received it when promised. I am happy.

Sturdy. Looks great. Easy to Install

It's a mailbox. It holds mail. Only problem is that it does not come with any hardware. So while you're at Home Depot picking up this stellar example of mail receptacles, get yourself a couple of screws.

This was the perfect size width and depth for our home!

….and so am I. This mailbox replaces a 20 year old box that served us well through rain, sleet, snow, hail and multiple paint jobs. It’s because the last paint job was an epic fail that we got this one. It was easy to install, holds more which is good since we receive more small packages, and it looks good. The price point for a metal box was added incentive.

A very nice mailbox....very well made. I like that it will keep magazines dry as well as small packages.

Excellent product. Well made. this is our second one. Our first one lasted about 15 years or so. Very pleased with it's size and how the mail fits into it.

The Gibraltar is a great no frills metal mailbox. The box is a generous size that will easily hold a couple of magazines and a whole stack of political mailers. The paint has a nice textured finish and all the exposed surfaces were covered. There are two drainage holes in the bottom in case any liquid happens to get into the box. It comes with the screws and wall inserts for attachment to your wall or fence.

I received this mailbox an hour ago and it’s on the house. This box is almost identical to the one I just replaced due to incipient rust and general old age. It did its duty for over 40 years!! All I ever did for upkeep was wipe it down and Pledge it. I have high hopes that this one is capable of being the same trusty friend as the old one. It’s identical except that the retiree has scalloped metal on the edges of the lid. I didn’t have to drill new holes because the old mounts fit the new one perfectly. I’m happy!
