Excellent except the strainer cup sits too high to prevent food scraps from washing down around the edge. The one I have is nearly 1/4 inch gap. Otherwise, when stoppered, it does not leak and being stainless steel it should last a long time.
Piece of crap will fall apart and ruin your cabinets
In their efforts to provide low prices Home Depot sells strainers like this that are complete crap and will fail and do hundreds or thousands of dollars of damage to your cabinets. Don't buy them. Buy the ones that are all stainless and brass. THe metal of this one is called "pot metal" and is whatever cheap crap the seller wants it to be. The stainless only refers to the basket.
Note the picture. Home Depot does sell better quality ones - you need to spend $30 to get a strainer that won't fall apart and leak,

Client loves her new slop sink from Glacier Bay....
Above you will read my review about a strainer basket having a 1/4 inch gap between the strainer and the drain rim. I was mistaken to think it was ill-fitting. Actually, I have found you can pull the strainer up (or down) to any desired height. By opening it up just a small amount, it will certainly prevent food particles from going down the drain. I now need to revise my opinion to 100 percent positive.
