This P-trap kit does not have a washer at the wall tube connection point. If it is leaking, we would suggest a plastic safe thread sealant or thread tape and that connection point. If you have any additional questions, please contact us at technical@oatey.com

1-1/4"
This trap does not come with the trap adapter to the wall connection.
Hello, Yes as loing as the tail piece fropm the drain is 1.5" this will work
No, I never have.
No
No
The stub from the wall should have threads. If not, you'll have to glue in an adapter. Once you have that, you have to fit the 1 1/2" nut over the "P" Trap extension, then a tapered white plastic washer. Tighten the nut to the adapter.
You should not need a gasket. The wall pipe should have a bevel on it that fits into the p trap (j pipe). If the connection is not aligned and off a bit it can leak and if it is tightened too much it can leak. Here is a You Tube video, Why is my Kitchen Sink P-Trap Leaking at Connection Nut?
Usually a beveled washer that slip nut will thread on to the wall pipe
Yes, the trap it made to install in reverse. thanks!
