And I'm not sure if anyone else has had the problem when you go to pull the plastic tie straps it will rip on one side and it's been like 30 out of 40 . I'm talking they pull out fine but when I go to grap the black plastic straps one side will rip right under the strap. It's been happing for awhile now so I finally wrote into glad. My daughters does the same thing. Me I have cancer and my Patience? have run out. Here's the photo

I buy glad every time I go grocery shopping for trash bags and multiple times now my bags have ripped and spilled all over the floor when taking them out to the dumpster. I spend too much money on bags that rip so easy like this and aren’t even filled. I like these bags because of the color and smell but this is annoying and irritating.

Typically this is my favorite garbage bag but for some reason the last 5 times now that I’ve bought them, the trash bags rip at the top of the trash bags where the tie string is on every bag every time I pull the bag out of the trash can. This has happened a few times in the past as well. I have also had the tie strings brake while trying to pull it out to tie it. I have recommended these in the past to my friends and family but I am not longer happy with how they are so thin and rip. The flex bags are my favorite, but I don’t like waisting money on bags I can’t use.

I bought a box of your ForceFlex leak protection gain febreeze bags the 40 count. All of the bags contained were bad. The tie function on the bags were stuck together which made the drawstring unstable. Being on a military base I have limited options to choose from and being I chose your product and this was the outcome put a bad taste in my mouth.

But I still take the quality and durability and scent of these bags way too seriously. Glad is truly a trusted household name in trash bags. I love that they are having a sustainability moment– using 10% recycled plastic in their bags. Can we bump that percentage up? Can we make these bags available everywhere?? 10/10 I will be buying more.

I mean I forget to take the garbage out in the summer months sometimes myhouse doesn't smell. This is a great idea. I highly recommend this product for everyone.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using the forceflex trash bags they gain odor for a while now. These are great trash bags. I haven't had a rip yet, and we overfilled. The old idea that you can keep tweaking more is actually one thing. My family is a bit lazy and will wait until garbage day to take out the garbage if possible. So what's up, the garbage bag is FULL. Every time. Using scented trash bags helps cover up the smell of leftovers. Which seems to help with the dogs' investigation of what they threw in the trash. Since I use these. I have not seen my dogs kick the trash that is inside our cabinet. They will now grab unused garbage bags if allowed access to them and seem to like to lie on them. I guess plastic keeps things cool! And the most important thing is that it has protection with RipGuard and LeakGuard protection. I recommend it, you will not regret this purchase

Every bag has ripped so far. They're weak and don't work well at all. Can't take them out of the trash can without ripping. Very disappointed these used to be good trash bags

The bags have ripped just regular trash. Nothing or anything with a defined edge. I’m hoping that this is just a bad batch but I want to make sure the company knows! If the next box is like this I will look into other options.

These are my go to trash bags. They’re strong, not too pricey and help cover the smell of stinky trash really well!

These trash bags are a game changer. Not only in the flexibility they have with holding a lot of trash but also with the fresh gain laundry scent it leaves your pantry smelling clean and fresh. Every time you open the trash can it smells newly washed laundry instead of garbage. Highly recommend.

I bought the box of 80 for my 13 gallon trash can and it rips everytime. It’s so frustrating when we have to double bag it before taking it out. And as soon as we put it in the trash can and put it around the top rim, it rips there too. So frustrating.

I’ve been very disappointed in the quality of the glad trash bags lately as they tend to rip or tear, but this box takes the cake for the worst quality bags I’ve ever encountered.

They fit our trash can really good and have a nice scent to them at first. Unfortunately they aren't very durable and the scent doesn't last very long. Every bag I tried ended up ripping open after developing little holes everywhere. The pleasant scent at the beginning fades very fast and does not help with bad trash smells at all.

My kitchen smell great when I walk into the room. They are very sturdy and have left no holes in them.

The bag itself is made perfectly to fit a 13 gallon trash can without collapsing into the can. Not once did I have to pull the bag out of the trash can. Glad Force Flex Trash bag withstood a lot. I cleaned out my fridge and packed the bag to the max. The bag did not rip, tear or break. There was no leakage either. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Glad Gain scented kitchen bags with Febreeze to try and provide my thought about how the bags work. I have a large wooden kitchen garbage can, not one of the built in drawers in a cupboard. These bags are more geared towards a small or cupboard sized garbage container. I found that a large sized pizza box fit in the bag easily and still had a decent amount of room to put a lot of other kitchen garbage. I had some older frozen items that were prepped and had gotten pushed to the back of the freezer and were outdated and needed to be thrown. Wouldn't you know it, I found these items in the freezer when I had just taken my trash out. Well, I was going to give the scent from Gain and Febreeze a hard test to see if they truly covered the smells when the frozen items thawed and sat in the can for a bit. I was pleasantly surprised, it kept the stink at bay, so much so that my dog wasn't sniffing around the can all of time trying to figure out how to get the goodies inside. The bags were decent for stuffing items in, even with tough corners like pizza boxes. The bags gave decently and didn't rip a hole in the side of the bags. It reassured me that I didn't have to watch so closely when pulling garbage out, as I was not concerned stuff would spill out through some holes.

They are also super strong and can add more trash then in a normal trash bag so I use less trash bags and save money. I would definitely recommend to friend's and family.

One time I ran out of bag for my diaper bin and I’ve always used the special bag meant for it. I needed a new bag right away but they were out of stock everywhere, then comes a brilliant idea. I tried using one of my Glad ForceFlex bags. Oh dear. I might start to regularly use this instead of the “special bags”. This bag is so strong, well that’s already a given as I’ve never had a ripped Glad trash bag. Because it is scented it contains the stink that comes from the diapers and my cat’s pad. The best thing is that I’ll be saving a lot of money too. I’m totally recommending this product to anyone especially to my fellow mommies!

They are very durable, that I stuff boxes, cans and other hard items into them without having to worry that they bag can not hold and make holes.
