This paint gave great coverage over brown walls. Beautiful results.

If you need a flat finish paint for a ceiling or wall this would be a good choice. My initial impression on lifting the container was that it seemed heavier than other brands of paint I have used. I usually equate heft with quality so for me this was a good impression. The sealing ring on the can, because it was shipped to me UPS, kept the can closed securely and was actually took some effort to remove. I painted an old piece of plywood that had tan paint and a stripe of raw plywood to see if the coverage was good and It did cover pretty well. It is kind of an extreme test and you can see the stripe under the paint so two coats might be necessary if youer existing surface is " striped". I would say this paint is good to go for an off white type finish.

PPG Diamond 1-gal. #HDPWN41U Swiss Coffee Flat Interior Paint and Primer truly does cover up in one coat. I started on this project in a pretty dirty area where there were a lot of dirty hand prints. You can see by the snapshot the hand prints are gone. The Swiss Coffee almost matches the original paint. I still have to go over the entire area but looks like there will only be one coat. 1 gallon can covers approximately 400 square feet. The paint dried to touch in about an hour. The color swatch is a little deceiving, thought the finished color would have a little more color.

This PPG Diamond paint is a really great bargain for under $25.00. I was really impressed with how it tuned out using my paint sprayer. I applied the paint the same day I got it since it was raining out and nothing else to do. Since the PPG paint has the primer already added, it saved a lot of time and prep work. The paint dries quick and is washable if the kids get finger prints on it. I painted over a gold colored room and posted the photo of the room after I finished letting it dry. Very happy with the results. Looks like coffee with a lot of cream added. Definitely recommend PPG products.

The PPG Swiss coffee flat interior paint is paint and primer all in one so you spend less time and only have to apply one coat. I stirred up the paint and used a 6" roller with a 3/8" nap. I applied it to previously painted wood and plywood that did have some stains. The paint is medium thickness and covered the imperfections in the wood and even over dark paint and yet let the wood grain show through or you could put a second coat so the wood grain would not show. This is a high quality paint that has a nice flat finish.

There was no color in the paint. It was just white

This paint did have poor coverage. The color underneath bled through. My husband painted the room again, but the color bed through again!

The paint turned out to be fine and went on good with a brush but not so much with a sprayer!

This paint was nice and creamy upon opening the can and only took a few mixes with my stirrer to assure me that the product was homogeneous. It applied smoothly, covered very well with no drips, runs or splatter at all. There was no problem with "picture framing" as the rolled portion of the wall dried uniformly with the brushed edges and corners. Cleanup of my brush (and hand) was very quick with just plain hot water. At first the color appeared to be considerably lighter than the standard, but it dried to an exact match. Great price, excellent quality, easy to apply, great hiding/coverage. Given the quality of other PPG products, I expect the painted wall will stand up to scuffs and be easy to clean.

The Swiss Coffee Flat Interior Paint and Primer is a very good quality paint. It has a lovely subtle tint which is more like a cream color than the tan color that is pictured. It goes on smoothly and is thick so it is not drippy. It covers the wall easily. I only needed 2 coats to completely hide a large patch. It has low odor and cleans up easily with water. It looks beautiful on the walls!

I would recommend this product to anyone whom is doing a painting project in their home and does not want a shine to their project as this FLAT paint as stated. the color is warming and does a decent job covering I would recommend before using this paint that you primer the project first. I did like the can was shipped with a "lid protector" which helps prevent the lid from opening in shipment.

Great product that eliminates the need to use a primer before painting. This paint gives even coverage using a brush for cutting-in or detail,, or a roller for larger wall coverage. Swiss coffee is a versatile color for baseboards, door s and door frames, ceilings, or walls providing a classic look. Easy to maintain in any room in your house or office.

I had several closets and a small hall area in desperate need of a "brightening up," so I chose to try PPG's Diamond interior paint with primer. What a huge difference! Pittsburgh Paints has a;ways been one of my go-to choices, primarily because of its coverage. And this Diamond interior with primer is no exception-- in fact, I think the coverage surpasses my previous applications of the brand. I opted for the warm yet very bright Swiss Coffee to breath new life into the problem spaces, and the results were excellent. The Diamond Interior applies very smoothly, and since the formula includes a primer, it immediately made the dirt, scuff marks disappear in the closets. I also noticed that the inclusion of a primer in the base really improved the adhesion of the latex to the surface-- a plus if you're uncertain of the type of previous paint used. After drying, it was clear no second coat was necessary-- yet another big plus! Combine all these features with the PPG lifetime guarantee, and you'd be hard pressed not to try this PPG Diamond paint.

I normally use two brands of paint, one sounds like an animal and came be purchased at the Depot. The other is reminiscent of a compass point. This was my first experience with a PPG paint, at least this century. Time before that gets a bit fuzzy. I was quite pleased with this. I decided to do an accent wall (small) when this arrived. The paint appeared well mixed, but I went ahead and mechanically mixed it. The consistency was very nice. It went on very smoothly (Purdy), covered well, and there was very little spatter. I used a tiny roller (I'm not going to chance using the nickname that I am familiar with. I would hate to have to do this review again.) to cover the larger spaces. It covered a very light off white, so only one coat was needed. There were no holidays. I certainly would not have any trouble adding this to my regular brands.

This is not the best paint that money can buy, but I don't need the best paint that money can buy. I need paint that goes on smooth, covers well, and holds up over time. So, for me, and this is exactly what I need without breaking the bank.
