6 month old paint job. painted tan over white primer and it was a 2+ coat job. went in to touch up the ceiling (same paint, different color but still finding missed spots) and the walls are a mess. the paint rubs and scratches anywhere it gets touched by something. this is beyond touch up. this is going to have to be completely redone.

I have done a lot of painting in my life and this product is the worst I've ever used. It's like trying to paint Elmer's glue on your trim and get a smooth finish. The more you try to run your brush across and get it smooth the worse it gets. This was window trim that was sanded, cleaned and primed before trying to apply this paint. Thank goodness I only used on the one window before stopping because I will now probably have to sand it down and start from scratch. It's just very bad do yourself a favor and buy another product.

I’ve used a lit of paints throughout my life and never tried Glidden before. I wanted to paint a single wall and tried it. I was pleasantly surprised on how well it covered and how easily it went on. Then decided to paint my bathroom and used Glidden again and it didn’t disappoint. Glidden will be my go to paint from now on.

It provided excellent coverage in the perfect shade!

Pretty good, quick and easy at Home Depot. Gonna need two coats for sure. Perfectly matched to B.M. color Pleasant Valley (696) in a satin sheen.

Very disappointed in PPG Timeless Needed 2 Coats left walls blotchy and streaky? I always used PPG Diamond 2 Coats with good results! Punchiest at Home Depot.

I have used this product to paint the interior of my fathers home. So far have used 3 1/2 gallons; painted 2 full baths, a hallway, 2 bedrooms, laundry room, family room and combination kitchen/dining room. Paint color was similar to old paint (cream) but a bit lighter. Covered with one coat without a problem. Even covered over a light green with one coat. Went on smooth and without a mess, no splattering when using roller. Very pleased.

The plan was to buy the Behr equivelent of this paint but the color wasnt avaliable so i took 3 gallons of this in 3 diffrent colors. The paint worked so well, no brush strokes, or roller marks. Will plan on buying this brand again for future projects. You have a new customer PPG

Was so surprised to see some of the reviews with less than happy results. Over the years I have always had nothing but excellent results withe their products and in fact will use no other. I have recently repainted the entire interior of our home after a faulty furnace left the entire house interior covered with a dark gray smokey film from the cracked heat exchanger. After the insurance company paid for the initial cleaning. I went to work repainting everything. Ceilings, walls, trim, and doors. Please note this was no small task as our home is just under 3000 Sq. Ft. With some ceilings vaulted and cathedral and walls reaching two floors. I would not have chosen any other products. Coverage was fantastic as as expected. And the results. PERFECT.

This is an excellent qualiyy paint. I was so impressed with the performance. Ive used Sherwin- Williams Super Paint for years and found the Glidden Premium just as strong but at a much better price. I saved $35 per 5g bucket and i mixed it into a Sherwin color

Good coverage

So overall this paint will give you a nice full finish , but not in one coat as advertised. Your walls need to be AT LEAST primed and you're still going to end up putting up 2 coats for a good result . Bought a 5 gallon bucket from home depot then I had to go and get 5 more for the second coat to finish up the garage I was working on . Way too expensive for the quality that's offered. It was a major disappointment when it didn't cover in one coat. Buying cheaper paint and putting up 2 coats will give you the same finish. Worst thing was the way home depot made me jump thru hoops just to get paint to finish my project .

Ordered 5 gallons of the flat interior in Toasted Almond to keep for touch ups. What we got was something with more of a yellow tint and a semi gloss finish. In the pictures you can see the difference and in the last picture the top part is the original paint and the bottom half is from the 5 gallon we ordered after drying for over an hour! Very disappointed and would like someone to get back to me ASAP.

I am shocked. Valspar is so much better than this. I got this thinking due to the promise it would be okay. It promises that it can cover things up, that it’s got improved hide... It doesn’t. This is sheer. It’s so sheer it’s like a gloss top coat! I didn’t buy that. I paid for the ppd diamond white. It isn’t opaque at all even after five coats!! It looks like paint you mixed water in or something. It’s just terrible! I am so let down!!! It’s so splotchy and patchy and it doesn’t hide anything even just the paint underneath it. I’ve tried it on brand new unpainted surfaces too... garbage! Use valspar it’s cheaper and it’s a one and done. Very let down! Funny enough they won’t let me add my photos here... don’t want anyone to see it I guess. I’m gonna be putting this on google reviews also. This stuff isn’t good do not buy it!

Overall I really liked this paint and would def recommend. Coverage per gallon is listed as 400sq ft, I covered 360 of a dark blue wall but I'm a pretty messy painter and had some porous spots so id say 400 is accurate. Clean up is also pretty easy even with how thick it is, just dish soap and water and my brushes don't even look like they had been used. Finish is very durable, already hit the wall a couple times moving furniture and it didn't peel or get blemished The 1 coat guarantee obviously has a ( * ) at the end which anyone with common sense would expect and would actually read the footnote or fine print. The guarantee is only valid with proper surface prep like sanding glossy surfaces, making sure the walls are clean etc and also states some surfaces could require additional coats. Btw this is not in fine print, normal font on the back of the can with the rest of the instructions. I painted over dark blue with a single coat and had no problems with the blue showing through at all. My only issue was the smell took quite a while to go away which surprised me with it being 100% acrylic and used in the summer. I don't have carpet, room was empty and well vented but still took over a week to clear up enough to not be really noticible. Even tried some suggestions online like putting a bucket of water with lemon juice in the room and using baking soda but didn't help but being the only drawback I would use this paint again for sure.

This is the first time i have used PPG Timeless. The paint doesnt cover in one coat. I had to do two coats, even on primed walls. I feel that the color, after two coats, is great. At $36.00 a gallon is quite spendy. Probably use Behr next time

I purchased this paint last year believing it would last 10 years. I have used it in the past on stucco and it held up well. I have a 1926 home with the original wood siding. The siding was properly prepped for paint: (1) power-washed, (2) scraped, and (3) sanded to the original wood. I am very dismayed that after a year the paint has cracked and flaked off. You can see from the picture all the prep work I put in. Now I'm doing it all over again and switching to a better line of paint. What a waste of time and money. Would not recommend for aged wood siding even if well prepped for paint.

Beautiful cream color paint we used to paint our guest room that was an aqua color. It covered in one coat and turned out very nice. Very nice paint. Will purchase again in another color for next paint job of master bedroom.

I decided to go with this paint versus chalk paint for my kitchen table. The nice gal and guy at Home Depot guided me on what textured paint to get. I am very pleased with the outcome.

Nice paint but I had to put multiple coats in order to get full coverage on wood shelving unit.

It looks great in my newly renovated spa bath.....color is very subtle.

Goes on smoothly and covers evenly

The actual paint was not a problem it was the Home Depot colour match, i took a chunk of paint to get matched i spent 2 hours going around the house exterior touching up areas and spots but when it dried it was not even close and the house looks ridiculous i now have no option but to repaint the entire house.

Bought to paint playset......did one coat by hand and second with airless sprayer. Great coveral and great look.
