It came in a box ready to use and it fit our fire pit perfectly. We burned some paper goods so the screen mesh kept the embers from flying into the air.

This has a hole in the screen. I wanted to order another and was told this was the last one Home Depot had, so I asked if they could reduce the price. They gave me 20% off and I accepted. It was the only size that fit my fire pit. I would rather have bought a “new” one.

Looks very well built. Fits perfectly on my fire pit. Ask me again next year. If it hasn't rusted away; I'll give it ano ther good review.

Product exceed my expectations. I have a Cambridge Fire Pit. The replacement sold by them (Cambridge's supplier) is more expensive and quite inferior by comparison. This screen is constructed of heavier gauge material and came with a metal device to open the screen handle so as not to burn my hands when in use. Could not ask for anything more!!

The product is well made, but I had to return it because the 26 in. description is misleading. My fire pit insert measures 26 in round, and the screen was to small. Not sure why it is called a 26 in. I would recommend because of the quality, but read the fine print of the true dimensions.

Perfect for my needs ... and no problems encountered.

We haven't actually used this one yet, but it certainly has met our expectations as far as height and weight. The one that came with our firepit was shorter and lighter weight. This one is ten times better. We are excited about the ability to add firewood without having to remove the entire thing.

The screen appears to be heavy duty as expected. I have not use it yet, but it fits my firepit very well.

This is a well designed & sturdy fire pit screen. The height and ability to open without lifting the screen off the fire pit makes it easier to manage with better flames. Beyond this, the value for money would be hard to find better.

since the original mesh fire screen for my fire pit was discontinued, I bought this one. I like it much better than the original. It opens on both sides for easy access, much more sturdy and fits perfectly. Thank you!

This well-made fire pit spark screen, while a bit pricy, is an effective deterrent to containing embers that could risk starting a wildfire. It's conveniently hinged to make wood loading easy without removing the screen. And it's the second one I've owned. PS -- store it in the garage during the rainy season to prevent rusting.

I had a fire pit but the screen just got tired. This did the job but seemed to be a little pricey.

the quality of this product it great - and because I am surrounded by dry leaves it is a great safety feature while still letting me have a blazing fire! I love the fact that half of it opens up so it still gives me the safety factor and yet lets us roast marshmallows.
