Antique dining room table repair.
You must have sufficient clamps & straps to tightly secure repaired joint. When you squeeze glue out of repaired area you're properly tight.

Gorilla wood glue is as good as any wood glue I've ever used. The 4 fl. oz. bottle is small enough to make it easy to manipulate and control and the glue flows well out of the flat tip. This glue does run a bit more than others I've used, so it required a bit of extra cleanup. However, a damp cloth took care of it easily and I saw no residue left over on my repair job when it was dried. I recommend this product and I would feel confident buying it for other woodworking projects or home repairs.

I had to repair one strip of wood on a hand-made coaster. Although my craftsmanship was not accurate, the brown color of this wood glue helped minimize the repair. We rely on Gorilla Glue products for all household repairs.

I repaired both a wooden cabinet top and a picture frame made of composite. Both came out so well, it's hard to tell they were ever broken. The entire corner of the table was snapped off, and the picture frame took a 4 foot drop, many times. Both came out great. the picture frame could be better, but that's due to pieces that were too small to glue. Every corner is glued. And the cabinet needs some cleaning but doesn't show signs of breakage.

I am a novice woodworker, so I've used many brands of glue to bond wood. I've used Gorilla tape, Gorilla super glue, Gorilla epoxy, and I find that Gorilla makes excellent adhesive and bonding products. I noticed that Gorilla makes wood glue, so I decided to try it on my current project. I used Gorilla wood glue to edge bond two pieces of plywood. The glue spread easily and I clamped the pieces for 30 minutes according to the instructions. I let the pieces cure for the required 2 hours, and tried to break the bond. The glue held firmly. The glue dried overnight and the residue was barely noticeable. I removed the residue with a light sanding. Gorilla Wood glue is a great choice for woodworkers.

I have always liked these Gorilla brand tapes and adhesives. I got the wood glue to repair an old child gate that someone had kicked and broke. It was easy to apply the glue, it dried clear, and it is strong enough to hold the repaired pieces together when then gate is being flexes open and closed... without nails or screws. I would recommend this product for any size project needing wood glue.

Gorilla wood glue is amazing, I do prefer to apply it to the wood using a small flux brush, which allows me to spread it across the surface rather than squirting a bead of glue from the tube. This way I have less glue squeeze out when clamping the pieces together. The glue does not set very quickly which gives ample time to adjust the pieces being glued and makes any excess easy to wipe off. The bond is amazing, the glued joints are actually stronger than the wood.

Wood shelf project from an Aunt turned out to be the prefect test for the Gorilla Wood Glue. She already had the plywood pieces but I had put them together to make the shelf longer. So I placed them on a flat surface, glued the edge, butted them together and put weights on each to keep them tight. After drying overnight, I then got a 4" wide strip of 1/2 ' wood for a brace and used screws with glue on the seam for added strength.

Gorilla wood glue works as described and is synonymous with wood glue I have used in the past. I like the applicator tip where it is easy to control and doesn't clog as easily when dried. The size of the bottle is perfect for my small wood projects. It will probably last a long time if you are an occasional woodworker. Works as described and is quite affordable too! Would recommend.

This Gorilla 4 fl. oz. Wood Glue is the best wood glue I have used. First off, the bond it creates on wood is super strong and reliable. The glue is very easy to manipulate as in, work with, clean-up and dry time. The average dry time for me is around an hour. I use this glue to bond 1x4 boards to carve into Hawaiian wood longboard surf boards and it works like a charm. The glue is water resistant and dries in a vanilla color. On pine it is barely noticeable. Teak and mahogany show the glue when dry. Clean-up is the biggest pro on this glue. It is easily wiped up with a damp paper towel and is complete with no residue to find later after drying. There is absolutely no odor. If you need to sand the wood after the glue has dried, you will get fantastic results. The dry glue sands perfectly. The glue becomes a natural color of whatever wood you are using so it blends perfectly. As with any Gorilla products, it is superior in bonding and performance. People don’t think about the cap but the cap for the bottle is unique in that it makes sure the remaining glue in the bottle does not dry out and clog the spout. Huge advantage. Thumbs up! Highly recommend and the ONLY glue I use for all my woodworking.

The wood glue works great. It dries pretty fast. I used it to make some small boxes for storage. I used some screws for added support. It does not have a strong scent. It cleans up very nicely as long as you wipe off the excess glue right away. I also use the glue for temporary support before nailing or screwing my projects together. It is my preferred glue to use.

The Gorilla Wood Glue its a great glue that provides a strong bond, I would recommend that you let the glue dry for at least 24 hours. I built a bench made out of 2 x 4s and instead of nails I used gorilla glue to attach all the pieces together and hold them with some trigger clamps for 24 hrs. Next day I removed the clamps and everything was strong and very well built. Easy clean up with just water, also sandable. Very easy to work with. No issues so far. Highly recommend for homeowners and professionals as well.

The manufacturer has a flawless reputation and this glue is no exception. The design of the bottle is identical to Elmer’s glue however that’s not a negative. The glue bonds every bit as good as any other quality glue. It sets up in reasonable time with a fully dry condition over night. I will gladly buy this product again when the bottle runs dry.

I've only used this wood glue on a few projects, but so far so good. Gorilla has a good name, so I thought I'd try it, and I was not disappointed. I'm probably an average DIYer when it comes to woodworking projects (certainly not a woodchuck), so the size of the bottle was attractive. This 4 oz. bottle will probably last me a year. I also like the dispensing top. I think most manufacturers have adopted this design - no more clogged dispensing necks. Yeah!

I needed to glue some lumber so I used this glue I had not tried before by Gorilla Glue. The glue is a bit thinner than I am used to using and spreading it evenly was not successful. After clamping the two pieces I was able to wipe most of the squeeze out. I returned a day an half later sanded both sides of the piece. The seam was tight without gaps and seems to be strong. I would not use this for outside projects since it states it is water resistant, otherwise it seems to do a good job.

The glue was a breeze to get out of the container. Was able to easily control not only where I wanted it but also the flow coming out. It dried to invisible and with some light sanding on the joints of the frame you couldn't even tell that glue had been used. Used this to glue a frame for a large piece of stained glass and has held up to the weight and stresses put on it. I highly recommend its use!

I have used many of the gorilla glue products. This is my first experience with the wood glue. One thing you will learn if you do any wood working over time is that a good quality wood glue is better than screws. I made a tool rack for my garage. I did use some pocketsscrews for some of the joints. The rest is just glued together. I found that this glue is very easy to work with. Not too thick and not too runny. Any excess glue was easy to clean up. Joints are very clean. I would definitely recommend.

On a new install of a attic ladder, I found a corner had come loose. A nail could work but did not want a nail on a spot I might grab with my hand. Glue is the answer. Pried the wood open a bit and squeezed some Gorilla woof glue on. It only takes a small bit as this glue holds up well and will spread to fill the void. Placed a clamp for couple hours. Removed clamp and inspected area. No dried glue visible at all.

I rely heavily on wood glue - I own few power tools - a circular saw and power drill / screwdriver and also a few clamps. So when I “build” things in the garage, I rely a lot on 2x4’s, glue and screws (have a lot of screws leftover from previous projects). This wood glue with its fast set up time, allows me to temporarily clamp pieces together, secure them with screws, remove the clamps and keep moving - knowing that these glue joints will set up quickly and effectively keep everything tight and secured. It may not be the correct way to do things, but having only a few clamps, it works for me. Since I do wood projects only occasionally - I like the removable tip which can be cleaned after use, preventing any residual glue from drying inside the tip (see photo).

Gorilla Wood Glue is amazing. It is strong, dries quickly, and is super easy to work with and clean up. I like that it dries much more clear than some of the other yellow glues. I like to use this with more intricate items that it may be more difficult to clean up glue squeeze out, or where I am really concerned about any of the glue showing. I like that they have this non-foaming formula which is much better than some of the original gorilla wood glue. The foaming was by design for certain applications, but it was far too messy. This stuff is great, and I always keep a bottle of it next to the workbench. The bottle is small enough to get into really tight workspaces, and a little goes a long ways. Very happy with this product, and I will continue to use it as I have never had the glue fail on any of my projects over the years.

I have used Gorilla Glue for many home projects with great success. I can highly recommend the Gorilla Wood Glue for a solid and permanent adhesion. The detailed work of adhering glass. ceramic, tile, wood, paper pieces to a fiberglass mesh fabric for mosaic back splashes on walls, requires a reliable glue. This product has never failed me. Easy to use, quick to clean up! When using, place kitchen plastic wrap such as Saran under your project....your finished piece will easily pull away from the plastic wrap when completely dry. Awesome product. I have never had a negative result when using Gorilla Wood Glue, and I have tested many!

Convenient application - quickly holds like a bulldog
This glue is formulated to be used on almost any kind of wood, hard or soft. It dries more quickly than standard yellow wood glue taking only 20 to 30 minutes to set up and dries totally overnight. It dries to a natural color making it nearly invisible at the joint and is water based which means spills or overages can be easily cleaned up with water and paper towels. This keeps the job looking neat and finished. It is also highly water resistant making it good for both indoor and outdoor applications. I particularly like the applicator nozzle on the container which pulls out to apply the glue and pushes back to seal the container and keeping the glue from drying out between uses unlike the other glue I used which had a removable cap which I would invariably take off and spend half and hour finding.

It brought my chair back to life
This Gorilla wood glue did wonders to my wooden chair that started coming apart. It was easy to use, just lift the top to open - press down to close. This glue is a good consistency and easy to apply, it dries quickly and blends in with the wood. I applied it and then tied with a rope in lieu of the clamps for overnight. Now my chair is once again as good as new and I'm proud of being able to fix it without any help. Highly recommended.

    A decent wood repair glue
I do a lot of wood working so wood glue is in high use in my shop. This is the first time I ever used Gorilla wood glue. I've used other Gorilla glues and they've done well with the right project. The first thing I noticed about the Gorilla wood glue is the contrast - it's not as yellow, it's more of a cream color when wet. Once it has dried it is a slight tan or sand in color. It blends in well with lighter colored wood. The strength of the Gorilla wood glue is not as strong as the other brands I use. I did a simple test using a pine 1-by glued to a piece of new growth cypress. If you view the photos you will see the Gorilla glue failed mostly at the glue joint. The other brand, the wood itself broke. I believe the Gorilla glue was meant more for simple home repairs where the glue easily blends with lighter wood. The Gorilla glue is easy to work with - not too thin. It sets up in about the normal time as other brands. It sands well once dried and like other wood glues, needs to be sanded from surfaces that are going to be stained and/or coated with clear coats.
