This is a great unit - my son and I put it together in 8 hours on some fairly uneven ground - very sturdy, well made and all the parts were included and well marked - only one comment - the delivery method is problematic unless you have a team of friends available to help you haul the 3 very heavy boxes from the curb of your home to the backyard ( very nice driver and my daughter-in-law had to get it off the truck and into the driveway - son manhandled it into garage until we hauled it to backyard on assembly day) - grand kids love it so all problems small by comparison to their joy!

Looked at a bunch of these things. This one seemed to be the best for the buck. Really pleased with the quality once it was put together which took about 15 hours total. Very sturdy and my little boy has already been enjoying the set when it's warm enough out to use. Been too cold to water seal it which I'd like to do to help prevent possible mold and surface cracking. Saw a couple of examples of that on YouTube. Time and rains will tell, but until then this item appears to be a winner. Two more things: purchased a nice bucket swing from Gorilla as accessory since my little guy needed one. If you have a 2-3 yr. old I'd recommend it. Also, the wave slide is awesome. High rails and the wave gives just the right extra zip going down. Best slide out there in my opinion.

This playset was perfect for our needs. Our son is almost 3 and we promised him a swing set at the new house. After looking at local companies who specialize in swing sets that wanted to charge extra fees for everything, we settled on this one and could not be happier. It took about two days to completely put together with the majority of time spent in organizing the parts and leveling the playset. I would highly recommend spending extra time in the beginning organizing the pieces and becoming familiar with them.

Love this swingset!
I bought this for my home daycare to use. They range in age from 1-5. My 13 year old daughter even loves it and able to use it. The directions were easy to understand and I was able to build this swinget by myself in one day. I highly recommend this set. I did water proof before building. I feel that was the easiest way to go.

Happy Toddler
My 2.75 year old is pleased as punch. Paid a local guy to put it together for me (best $350 I ever spent!) so can't speak to assembly. I did stain the wood before assembly which was a lot easier than it would have been once assembled and would definitely suggest other do too.

Wonderful Product
We bought this for our 5 year old son and he absolutely loves it. The play set went together fairly quickly and without any trouble - we started in the morning and he was playing on it by late afternoon. The quality of it has so far been durable, and I expect we'll get several years of enjoyment out of it! Plus it is a perfect size for our backyard. I would recommend this set.

DO NOT BUY
Horrible customer service. I would not recommend this product to anyone. Very cumbersome to assemble, poor quality material. Any warranty issue not covered as the company deems it an "act of god"

Great playset.
I really like this playset. The item was shipped to our home faster than expected, the directions were not overly complicated but definitely could have been a little bit clearer. Set up was easy but very tedious, there is a lot of different hardware and it is a good idea to take some time at the outset to organize yourself and it will make the process run much more smoothly. My dad and I built the playset over 4 evenings working on it for about 2-3 hours per night. The quality of the playset is great and it is much less expensive than other "name brand" sets. I've only had the set for about a week but I'm very happy with our purchase.

Good product poor delivery service by Home Depot.
The product arrived in good shape and my children love it and it should provide years of great use. It took 4 of us to set it up in about 4-5 hours at an easy pace. I would say it's worth buying some additional holds for the rock wall if you kids are under 5, I did buy some yellow holds and my boys were excited about the extra different colored addition to the wall. Toddler swings were also an addition I made as well.

Great play set - fun project to assemble.
Great play set for the price. Overall build time was about 8hrs for me by myself ( and a little "helper", see pic). Directions were clear and each step worked as described. It is not a complicated build, just a lot of steps, so as long as you have the recommended tools, I would think anyone with average to little construction experience could do this. Can be done over several days, so no hurry to do all at once. I started on a Saturday and worked a few hours some days and a few minutes on other days through the week to finish the next Saturday. A good ratchet/socket with recommended sizes is VERY useful and the drill/driver. Nice feeling of accomplishment for me, and a great sturdy play set for our kids who love it so far. I was a little skeptical prior to purchase on how sturdy it would be and how it would hold up, but I am very pleased now that I have built it and tested it.

Great value - kids love it
Clear assembly instructions. Just follow carefully. 1 st few steps critical. Pieces well marked. All parts were there. Took about 9 hours by myself. Do have construction experience. Use of screw gun, drill and sockets made assembly much easier. Ground prep critical. Recommend treating wood as per instructions periodically. Be prepared to handle 3 heavy, awkward boxes, recommend dolly and maybe a hand truck depending on where you have to move it to. Separated packages on truck and lowered onto dolly 1 at a time using tailgate lift of truck. Driver helped. Also put hardware for swings on beam while on ground before raising. Also recommend layout area. Very critical to pre-drill when instructed to do so, will avoid splitting wood. Watch screw lengths. A 1/2 inch too long will protrude through backside on climbing wall. Overall very happy with purchase.

Great Play set for the money
I'll start by saying that I'm not a handy person at all, so I was worried that I wouldn't be able to finish it. The instructions was very easy to read and understand. Took me two days about 16 hrs total but I got it done and it looks great. The only issue I had with the product that kept me from giving it a 5 star rating are the following. 1) The boards have small white paper labels stapled to them with a number code indicating where the board will be placed on the swing set. My issue with this is that the label are so fragile that when I opened the box 40% of the boards didn't have the labels on them as they had fallen off inside the shipping box. At this point I had to guess and do more measuring to make sure that I had the right piece. This slowed me down quite a bit.

Fun Fun in the Fort
I was impressed with the engineering of the set...the only thing that I wish they would improve is the explanation of how the "boards" are labeled...each one does have a tag but with no explanation as to what the letters mean--they relate to the description of that particular board and its placement...once you figure that out, it makes life a lot easier. All fit together well and the time to erect was approx 6 hours...I did have help by an individual who had assembled the same set the week before...it is a 2 man job...lifting and hold boards in place until bolts, etc could be placed. Also, not sure if the lumber is a species resistant to rot...it is stained, but that really does not give a high level of resistance. I would recommend applying a coat of water/rot resistant product to preserve the integrity of the lumber. Overall, a good product!

Good sturdy playground
The assembly wasn't hard on it...took me and my buddy about 8 hours to put together the playground. The issue was I was missing a bag of nuts (had to go to home depot and purchase for $4.91). The instructions also do not have the wood labeled on the actual instruction steps so you have to continue to go back to the front of the instructions to find the wood you need. Overall though my kids love it, it is very sturdy and looks great. I would recommend.

Fell short of expectations!
The problems I had related not to quality of product but lots of missing hardware. Since I was assembling my playset for friends in Mexico, the missing hardware was very hard to replace. I couldn't call the company since I don't have international calling on my cell phone and had no web access. I had to visit 5 Mexican ferreteria's(hardware stores) to find all the missing parts. Then I had to make modifications to the set because the hardware was slightly different from what was intended.I will have to say, the playset was quite nice once I finally got it assembled. It is higher quality than many "big box" playsets I have seen. I e-mailed the company about my problem after I returned to the states. That was several days ago. They have not responded.

Great, smaller swingset
Instructions were a little difficult at times, but not TOO bad. There are a few things that are 20x easier with two people, so if you have a friend that can help you out, ask them. It took my father-in-law and I over the course of 2-3 days to get it all setup and together, but there was hosting a birthday party thrown in there as well. There were a few points in the instructions that are kind of backwards - like the canopy peak where it tells you in the instructions to put the vertical pieces up first, then assemble/build the box the canopy fits around. Make sure you have a ladder! Also, make sure you have deep sockets, or else you are going to be making a second trip out to the store. The included ground-stakes are plastic and a little puny IMHO. Toys-'r-us sells the swing-set anchors that screw into the ground, but the included strap is made for a metal swingset with round legs. I did pick up some steel strap (in the plumbing section) and made it work for us.
It's a little on the smaller side when it comes to size, but it fits our family perfectly. We now have a 2-year old and a 3-month old. The 2-year old loves it and is a perfect size for him. He loves going up the rock wall, up and down the steps, going down the slide, and of course, swinging. We have a Little Tykes Turtle Sandbox as well and it fits underneath the elevated "fort" area.
The stain starts coming off pretty quickly (because it isn't sealed when shipped - again, read your instruction manual and it tells you this), so some smaller parts wore out before I had a chance to seal it - namely the steps. Wood seems like good-quality cedar.
Just make sure you go by the instructions (when they make sense). Seal it within the first 2-3 months after you get it up (I just used a clear-coat of Thompson's water sealant) and check and tighten the bolts over the course of the season.

The kids LOVE it!
Delivered to the driveway in 5 boxes. "Some assembly required!" All parts were included. I don't consider myself handy, but was able to put it together in about 7 hours, using only tools I already had (socket wrench, power drill, C-clamp, level, shovel).
As I said, the kids love it. Here's a picture of them swinging while I work up the energy to screw on the last board.

Great Swing Set
We ordered this swing set for my sons after a storm caused a tree to crash on our old one. Luckily, our homeowners insurance helped us cover some of the cost of this, but I still think it is a great value, given my comparison shopping and online review reading. We received it fairly quickly and gathered some help to put it together. All total, it took almost 11 hours for 2-4 non-handy people to put together. The quality is very good, although some of the boards had scratches and dents upon arrival. Some of the boards are soft and scratched during assembly. But they aren't too noticeable and I'm sure will be added to by boys playing rough. I would caution to read the instructions carefully, as we messed up several times in the early stages, but recovered enough to get it set up. One of those mistakes ended up making us flip the whole thing, so it looks different than others (as you'll see from the picture), but I actually like it better this way. I would also suggest, as others have, to lay out the boards in stages. It would also be helpful to label all the screws, bolts, etc.

Gorilla - Best Choice!
It took two people 7 hours to put this together. Made sure all the screws and lumber were accounted for before starting the project, this will cut back on the time it takes to complete it. I would recommend this or any Gorilla product. The wood alone is great quality compare to other brands that I have seen on display. Can't imagine anyone being disappointed with this product.

Great playset!
We did a lot of research and finally decided on this playset. It was a great choice! It arrived earlier than the expected delivery date. My husband assembled it in a weekend, and said the directions were very clear and specific. I like that it's a bit larger scale. I'm 5'9" and can stand up under the canopy, so hoping it will last our two boys a long time! The one thing of note is the color is a bit different than pictured. It is sort of a reddish stained cedar I think, but looks very nice! We've had lots of compliments on it already.

Great product
This problem may be fixed by the time anyone reading this review receives the product as the online instructions are correct, but the wood sizes in the directions did not correspond to the wood received, one side of the fort was a few inches shorter than shown in the directions.
The quality of the wood itself could definitely be improved but the swing set components were of excellent quality. I did seal the wood before installing the swing set as advised by other reviewers (and the instructions themselves, though I thought the product was supposed to be pre-treated). Looks great in the yard and my daughter loves it but we'll see how well this product holds up over time.

Took Some Time But Great Results!
My wife and I purchased this for our two grandchildren (1 and 3). I waited until my daughter-in-law's parents were in town to make it a "grandpa project" (he's an engineer and I'm a klutz).
We started by inventorying and sorting the parts into piles based on steps. Though it took a while, it was worth it in the end.
In general, all went fine - we finished in 11 hours - one and a half were spent digging and evening the ground (a slow rise in the backyard).
Some lessons learned to pass on:
- Level the ground first. We built the frame for the fort and used it as a basis for leveling - it was difficult to move for two old guys :)
- Drill pilot holes for screws - we stripped 3 bits with the wood screws. Pilot holes for all wood screws would have made it much easier.
It's done... it's solid...the micro humans love it... and I don't have to go through the aggravation of juggling two car seats to take them to the park!

Great value
After reviewing many products across the board from plastic to custom built we settled on the gorilla play set and are thrilled. Pretty easy to set up alone with minimal help to complete a couple steps. My 4 year old loves it and the only downside is that it is scaled for young kids and I can see her outgrowing it quickly. Still worth it but may be worth spending a little more to get something larger. We will have to wait and see how it fairs through a New England winter.

My 2 y/o loves the swing set
This was a gift for our childs 2nd birthday and both my husband and father in law built the swing set. All the pieces were there and it took about 10-11 hours in total to complete. We've only had the set up for a little over a week and the only disappointment is that some of the pieces of wood (along with the finish) appear to be pealing. This isn't ideal as the color is beautiful and when it peals the color underneath is much different. We are going to purchase a sealent of some sort to protect the wood but thought that for the price of the set, the wood be already be protected. Overall we are happy with the product and installation was what we expected. Again just the wood quality/protection could have been a little better.

A PLAY PARK IN OUR BACK YARD!
My grandchildren are having such a great time with this set. There is so much for them to do, that there has been no fighting among the three of them. Their ages are 2-5. We ordered a bucket swing for our 8 month old, and put it where the trapeze was suppose to go....it was an easy switch.....this way two swings remain for the older kids.
-
The set went together easier than expected. Two people could easily put this together. The pdf instructions were very helpful and I recommend that it gets looked at prior to setting up the play set...it listed what tools were needed before getting started, weight limitations and maintenance/care to ensure years of fun.
-
There were some screws that were missing (or maybe they got lost in the tall grass when we assembled it) - But we picked some up at our local Home Depot. If we didn't have to do that, it would have gone together in one day.

This product is a easy DIY
All parts and pieces were accounted for. With simple hand tools I was able to install in the backyard in about 8.5 hours. If I had an extra hand, just to have the next piece to install ready, we could of shaved an hour or two off the total project. All in all, this was simple and I did it while watching my 4yr. Old play around me.
