I purchased this raised garden bed last year and added another section this year. Love this cedar raised garden bed!.

This was easy to set up and we added a rabbit proof fence around it with a gate. We put two of these side by side with a 24 in isle between them.

A snap to put together very good price I paid more for the dirt to fill! It does take 25 cubic feet!

Perfect size for our space. Super easy to assemble. Some of the wood was chipped and whatnot, but that didn't hinder assembly. Loved how we were able to get it shipped to the house. We used eight large bags of soil with a layer of compost underneath.

Product is easy to assemble. Be careful when ordering. I thought I was ordering the 4 ft x 8 ft by 10.5 inch depth unit, but I inadvertently ordered the one that had one 4ft x 4ft section at 10.5 inches deep and the other section was at 7 inches deep. This was not a problem. I still used it. It should last a long time. As a suggestion to others, I added a galvanized wire mesh (1/4 inch opening) screen at the bottom of the unit to keep out gophers.

reasonable easy to put together in whatever configuration you like. One of the corner pieces broke, but i was able to work around that and still make it work.

Good value for the money. Some of the corner posts split during assembly but Greenes shipped replacements out immediately. I was able to assemble these by myself with only a mallet. Think outside of the box if you are buying more than one, I was able to configure 4 of these into 2 "L" shaped beds, each comprised of 2 tall 4x4 sections, and 1 short 4x4 section, with enough pieces left over for a separate short 4x4 bed in the middle of my 2 "L" sections. I was able to do this by joining more than 2 4x4 sections and using just a single board in between tall sections. So I ended up with 6 tall and 3 short 4x4s, instead of 4 tall and 4 short. It helps if you graph it out first. I would buy these again. If the posts split during assembly you can also screw them back together.

Great starter garden kit. I used two stacked on top of each other for deeper soil. Quick and easy to put together, just need a rubber mallet to bang into place. I have moved these, which I wouldn't recommend, but they did last 7 years.

Easy to assemble and came out great!

I was skeptical about the ease of assembly, but it went together like a dream! It helps to have two people just because it is a bit unwieldy to do alone. I am 64 and basically assembled it by myself in minutes. I placed cardboard on ground atop of existing plants as I did not feel up to digging. The ground is flat so I simply set it down in desired spot. I filled the bottom 1/3 with leaves, clippings and branches and limbs from my yard to reduce the amount of soil needed. I filled it with a mix of compost, manure and raised bed garden soil. I added some worm castings and the plants are thriving. I have a row of peas planted from seeds, three tomatoes and two basil plants in one side and on the other there are three peppers, cilantro, another basil, and yellow squash and zucchini with a trellis as I hope to make the squash grow vertically. Thus far everything is perfect. The container was perfect! I am very pleased with it and think the design is genius. It arrived quickly and was very well packaged. I am attaching a photo made right after planting. I later added a trellis on one end for peas and two more peppers.

Love these! Easy to assemble and exactly what I wanted. The first set is over a year old and I wanted to expand my limited space so ordered 2 more.

I was considering buying lumber and making planter boxes, but for the same price you can get these kits and save yourself a lot of labor! They look great and are so easy to put together. I didn’t like the post toppers though so I left them off.

Easy to put together. I’m not a handy woman but I did it without my hubby. And now my plants are growing in it!

Easy to assemble and seems sturdy. I have just started my raised bed and the dirt hasn't yet arrived, but so far, so good! The caps screw in and I didn't expect that. I haven't installed my caps yet because I want to make sure the screws will not rust first.I may leave them off or install with a different method. The ends of the boards are a rough cut, so I had a bit of smoothing to do (using a gardening glove) to allow the boards to slide into the grooves, but overall, an easy install.

The entire fence/garden bed was very easy to set up. I needed a rubber mallet to install side boards. A few gentle taps and all went into place. Overall, around 30 minutes to complete the task. No instructions except for picture on box. But picture is all that is needed. While carrying the entire piece to our garden plot, we realized the unit was wobbly. But once it was on level ground and dirt was placed in and around it, unit was solid. I am still pouring in the ground. Numerous bags needed. I anticipate 4 tomato plants (max) will fit in the square with 11" high sides. Cukes and other vegetable on the 'small' side. After extensive research online, I selected this unit. The unit has two sections, one for deeper growing plants (almost 11") and the other for shallow growing (7") plants. I put it in the garden on March 15, shortly after buying it. So far, very pleased with the product. Reasons rating was not rated excellent: Two of the side boards were slightly warped--not much but enough that there were slight spaces between consecutive boards on one side. I put these sides in last so they ended up at the top-most level. One must be very careful when pounding sides into place as it is obvious that the wood can easily be splintered. Again, rubber hammer necessary. One side slat had wood knots and one came loose during assembly.

Very easy to put together. You don't have to worry about the ground being perfectly flat to look great!

I wanted a quick, sturdy and easy to put together raised bed garden and this product definitely satisfied my expectations. I like that is connects together easily and you can add to it for a bigger garden. Great product!

My last 4 x 4 raised bed lasted 6-1/2 years & was falling apart so it was time for a new one. This time I sprayed it with Helmsman spar urethane to protect it. It was slightly smaller than the previous one which made it a little difficult to replace & I had to hammer the last side quite a bit to get the interlocking pieces together. But that actually ended up putting a little dirt around the bottom, making it easier to weed whack. It turned out beautiful.

For anyone wanting to try raised-bed gardening, this product is as easy as you can get in a kit. The pieces went together very easily, and the entire bed is sturdy and attractive. Another feature is the ability to expand in any direction. This is truly a great product in terms of design and functionality.

Product was easy to assemble except I built a floor to raise it from the ground. And that complete the assembly. I got it two weeks ago and it looks great.

Love then so much I bought three. I use for vegetables and flowers. Easy to assemble and a pleasure to tend. Thank you.

Overall working well. Would help if the Material should be 2x the thickness.

It was nicely made and easy to put together.

I purchased this to plant some tomato plants and herbs and didn't want to spend a fortune on flower boxes. It was very easy to assemble. I liked the first one so I bought 3 more and found it very easy to adapt to any configuration. I changed the configuration 2 times because of the room I had. I would throw some caution that if you are not good at working with wood, put it on a very flat surface. I think the end caps could be of better quality, I broke 2 putting the screws in. Some of the color of the panels are darker than the others from the 3 kits I purchased. After it was all installed and I filled the dirt, I had to brace a couple of the panels because of bowing and one of the corners split, so I had to turn it around and used the good side. If you are looking spend a little money, this is a good product.

So far so good. Easy to assemble.
