Very happy either the planter. Very easy to put together, no tools needed. My 4 year old grandson even helped to assemble it.

Don't let the initial smell put you off. Outside of that it arrived promptly, went together easily and looks beautiful. A little pricey, but so convenient for a beautiful piece. Smell goes away after a day outside.

I LOVE my new raised bed planter! I ordered the shorter version so my young kids can reach into it. The wood is beautiful & smooth. I originally ordered the same version from Amazon, which was cheaper, but I didn't realize the wood was "Rough Sawn Rustic Look", which is rough. That item was returned. The unfinished cedar is just what I wanted b/c we grow our veggies organically. The bed is smaller than I thought (my fault for not looking) but VERY sturdy & well made. My husband put the bed together in about 15 minutes, with no tools needed. I would like to purchase the taller version next year!

This raised planter box is absolutely beautiful and not difficult to assemble! The cedar boards are grooved and slide easily together. I was concerned about proper drainage because the bottom boards do not have drainage holes. But, when you assemble the planter box, the bottom boards are placed slightly apart to provide for adequate drainage. I am so glad that I decided to purchase the safe finish rather than the rough finished cedar, which was cheaper. It is worth the additional cost because the boards are smooth, splinter free, and stained with a garden bed oil that provides a lovely natural cedar color finish. It is so stunning on my deck that I just ordered a second one to complete my vegetable garden.

Hubby put these together. He commented "they are nice looking and well made for the price". Be careful as these are unfinished and he did get a sliver. We will line ours with roofers tar to protect the inside. Does come with a fabric that fits into the bottom that allows drainage but will not allow soil to fall through. So far seems to be a sturdy, well made product for the price.

I bought this planter with the oil finish and it looks fabulous on the end of my porch with my herbs in it. I plan to buy more to plant tomatoes and peppers. It was so easy to assemble by myself, no tools required. The quality is impeccable, and the planter looks like it cost much more than it did. A great value! I am very picky, so when I find something I like I "stock up!" I will definitely buy more of this brand.

My order of Gronomics products arrived yesterday, but the weather prevented my construction of the larger raised bed kits outside. I couldn't wait to see how they looked assembled and built his one in my living room just for fun. It was very well crafted and all the parts fit together easily. It has a great rustic appearance which blends well with my house and deck. I have plans for Beefsteak Tomatoes this Summer, and the quality of this product was evident right from the start. I may buy 3 more of them! Delivery was very prompt!

Very easy. Takes two big bags of soil. No issues with the planter and it looks nice.

This planter box required no tools, and easily fit together for assembly. It is quite sturdy, and provides a nice boundary to keep plants looking tidy and presentable.
