These are by far the best recessed light cans i have used. They are infinitely adjustable depth wise compared to competitor product. My ceilings were 1" thick and these locked in no problem. Impossible with other cans i have used. Wiring takes 2 minutes thanks to the pushlock wire connectors and quick grip for the romex. I added (6) to the kitchen and will buy an additional (6) for my living room. Only minor complaint my Home depot store didnt stock many of the trims i had to go online and special order the baffled ones i wanted but not a show stopper they were here in less than a week.

The cut out template is perfect and the unit slid into the hole without issue very easy to install in a 5/8" drywall ceiling. The wire junction box is well configured and the wiring was a snap.

As an old electrician, I have installed many recessed cans. This one is by far the easiest and best quality I have ever used. I had to order the 6” can, normal size and short. But the 5” was available in store. I didn’t understand that one. Price was actually less than the cheaper made in store ones

I love the holding mechanism for these cans over the previous model with the clips. It holds better and doesn't damage the drywall. My only complaint is the box is a bit small. Otherwise, it's a major improvement from the older version.

Easy to use, the flaps engaged by screws are much easier to use than the compression fit in other models.

Design improvements in this model are significant. They make installation very simple. The compact format, improved bracketing system and the hinged junction box with quick connectors make installation a snap. My only suggesting would be to make your cutout slightly larger than the template suggests in order to accommodate the integrated gasket.

Easy to install. Wiring connectors make wiring easy. Side screw tightening flanges are superior to the spring clips on other retrofit units.

Modular parts are excellent! However, lack of instructions -5⭐️

Product does not stay in place. It like the engineers just went home early. would not recommend these to anyone.

Well worth the extra cost! Fixture seems better constructed , the short electrical connection box with intergraded push in connector is nice ,clamping system pulls the can up to the ceiling much better vs the tabs.

I've installed many of these crappy things the lights work ok, it's the fing installation that sucks the spring clips that hold them in is a bad design!!! In 1/2 inch rock it's almost painless but most ceiling are 5/8 and you have to torque the clips and everything has to be perfect to get them to all clip correctly!! then there's lath and plaster yeah forget the clipsuse drywall screws or better yet buy a different brand.

These recessed lighting cans work great. better than the with clips.

ease of install is the reason i like this recessed can, the captive retainer clips dont easily get lost when the can is laying around before installation.

The flip out mounting tabs are a much better design for old retrofit installations than the spring clamps found on most other retrofit cans. Especially useful for thicker or double layers of Sheetrock. Would definitely recommend.

Easy to wire and install. The locking tabs secure much better than the springs most fixtures use. Installed 4 in about 2 hours hole cut to turned on.

Better system to attach to ceiling versus the clip system Wish they make in smaller sizes

The wire housing could be a little tighter on the neck. If t you attempt to adjust the can the housing may pop off .

Super easy to install especially with the easy connect wire nut free connectors.
