I bought two shelves and they are different heights. The poles inside were all various lengths. The shelves were hard to assemble because of the trying to find 4 of the same height so shelf was flat. Glad I bought two sets so I could mix and match.

Bought April 2024. Easy to assemble. I liked how the shelves itself feel sturdy but the poles are somewhat flimsy. I would put glue to hold them together because when you try to move it around the pole comes out the socket. I recently bought and one of the shelves is broken. Might recommend IF all pieces were good. But sadly it was broken when I opened the package so I can’t use 1 of the shelves

Quality control is non existent most of the legs are different lengths and make the upper shelves uneven. HDX your S together

FYI - Bought 3 shelves for attic storage. Had room for one more so bought a 4th shelf 10 days later and it was a different height (floor surface is even).

We bought these shelves nearly a year ago, and recently went to assemble it. The packaging was secure, but it was missing 1 of the 12 support poles. I contacted Keter, the manufacturer. They refused to replace the support pole, but offered to SELL me a new pole for MORE than I paid for the original unit. It's one pole. It shouldn't be that difficult to replace, but after dealing with Keter, I get the distinct impression this could be a scam to upsell. The quality is poor, but by design.

Size was perfect for what I wanted, but quality is terrible. Shelves were cracked after unpacking.

Poor finish , caps are not tide , very poor and cheap material.

I purchased 3 and will be getting more. They are being used in my sewing room and it is perfect to store bids and fabric.

Purchased and brought home and unpacked. While putting together 3 corners were broken from the cheap hard plastic making the shelf barely good for holding 5lbs. Polymer/plastic used for these shelves is too brittle and should have been a more durable compound which costs a a bit more, but better than cheap broken plastic.

Needed to store 16 quart plastic boxes (17"x12"x7"). Unlike many shelves, these will fit four 16 quart boxes per shelf. Main problem was after assembly shelves were uneven and did not match each other. Low vertical spacing made it hard to get two 16 quart boxes on top of each other. Solution was to reverse the legs from instructions as shown in attached picture. Works well and fits better reversed. Used only 3 shelves due to height limits. Recommend anchoring top shelf to wall.

Overall this is a fine, no frills storage shelf. Not heavy duty, but not weak either. What’s mildly infuriating though is that it’s just barely not wide enough for two milk crates to fit on one shelf; and I have a feeling I’m not the only one frustrated by this. If this shelf were 1” wider, I’d give it 5 stars.

Great fit for limited space and height n

The most important thing about this shelf is that you READ! .There are instructions and a 800 number included with packaging . In the label description it tells you the weight limit . But if you're a do it myself person ( like me) just make sure you are distributing the same amount out pressure for every pole. It's definitely worth the price.

Just put these together and I don't think they could have made these any more cheaply. They are really, really bad. Extremely brittle, one of the corners cracked just by pressing the shelf onto the post with my hand. Every one of shelves have cracking in various spots. I have over a dozen of the other, more expensive HDX shelves and tried to save a few bucks on this cheaper version. Yikes, what a mistake.

Shelves had several manufacturing defects causing the shelves to fall or be unstable.

Bought a unit today and 2 of the shelves are broken. The box was unopened at purchase so the company had to have sent it out this way. There is a paper inside stating not to return it to the store, to visit a website instead. Went to the website and it's asking for payment information. Why does it need payment information to replace parts that were broken upon purchase? So I input all the information and then I get a notice that I have to call customer service. Taking this crap back to Home Depot the first chance I get.

I really like these shelves. They are durable and easy to put together. A+ in my book!

Very cheap plastic product. Avoid buying it. Won't last long. Most parts are broken, shelves and rods .Rods are also very basic and wont withstand pressure. Please do not buy.

these shelves are horrible......legs are warped, not srraight....terrible quality.....parts do not lock in place....

This is being used for my Linen in a small studio apartment closet. It was very very easy to put together (like giant Lego). It's plastic and it's more than strong enough for what I need. A lot of reviews are negative because people are putting very heavy things on it so of course its going to cave in. So just pay more for a sturdier product if you're going to put heavy things on it. The price was right for me.

Remodeling '75 doublewide and needed some extra storage. These shelves are super easy to put together. Use a rubber mallet to pound the posts together and they are very sturdy. I gutted out the old 30x30 shower and turned the space into a linen closet. I will buy more for my storage room and FL room to organize all my junk. :)

We received this item but when my husband built the shelf he said it was missing four legs so we couldn’t put the top shelf on it

Setup was very easy, and all the kiddos helped. I'm using two units side by side as toy storage in their playroom. The shelves look great, and I was so happy to pay only $20 each.

Basically, we have this "closet" in our house that is oddly shaped in such a way that you cannot put up clothing rods. but it is a very tall but not very wide space. So, we decided we were going to make a "linen closet" out of it (this is a temporary home so we didn't want to spend the amount of money to install wood shelving). I found this unit on home depot.com and although I wanted the white version (the closet is all white) since no one is really going to see it, because itis behind a closed door, I purchased the black one since the white one is out of stock. It said it wouldn't arrive for around two weeks but actually arrived about two days later. I easily put it together and put my linens on it and it works exactly as needed. It is not super sturdy but for linens, it works quite nicely. So much so that I actually purchased another one exactly like it. As I stated the closet has very high ceilings and for the the price, even though we only added another two shelves to it, it was very worth the price (second unit also arrived super quickly) . Will likely use the extra two shelves for boot storage in my clothing closet. Again, not the finest quality, but for the price, this thing is top notch!

So easy to assemble. Sturdy and very affordable. I had these assembled in under 10 minutes!. No tools required. I also ordered 2 of the HDX 5 tier shelving units because I was so pleased with my purchase of the 4 tier. Both are strong and I would highly recommend.
