used it on a ceiling after moving a ceiling light . worked great can't tell where the light was

Works ok, still has a lot of flex in the middle but covered the hole and visually looks good.

Great fix for drywall holes.

I've used about 10 of the Wallboard patches in the past with excellent results. Tried the HDX patch as I didn't have time to walk to the other side of the store to pick up the Wallboard brand. Was very disappointed with the HDX, removed the patch, and replaced it with the Wallboard brand. Much better! The Wallboard aluminum is perforated to help hold mud, while the HDX is a smooth sheet. Also, the HDX sagged at two edges of the aluminum (ceiling repair), making it impossible to finish well. I'll stay with Wallboard going forward.

Product worked very well and even covered a larger hole than was supposed to by using 2 of them overlapping a bit.

Not impressed. The self stick mesh was not evenly placed around the metal patch. This made the initial placement of the patch difficult. This patch would have been much better if some care had been placed into the QC of this item. I bought three and they were all different so it wasn't a one in a hundred type of manufacturing mistake. I will not buy this brand again.
