I have had this product for 5 years and loved it so much that I bought a 2nd one 5 years ago. I plan to buy 3 more different heights within next few months to reorganize my room. The construct is solid stainless steel I could only buy and carry one at a time because of weight. Because it is not cheat light weight steel the shelves hold a lot when put together which only takes 10-15 minutes with patience.

My husband bought this unit to hold our cable TV box/DVR, DVD player, and UPS for our components. TV is on the wall. The unit "sits" on top of a built-in dresser in our master bedroom. We only used 2 shelves and stored the 3rd shelf plus leg extensions in case we use it for something else in the future. Our 2-shelf unit is about 12" high. Lower shelf is 6" up from top of dresser; top shelf is at 11" or so. It's perfect. We researched TV and component stands and found many that were made of particle board and cost twice as much (with little options for venting equipment heat). This is black, looks great in the bedroom and is sturdy enough to hold all the components we need it to.

This is one of the few shelves I have bought that was all straight, and had no bent or "off" shelves. I was nervous at first because the grooves where the clips fit into aren't as deep as most shelves, but with the assistance of a second person to lower the shelves in place, they stayed in place perfectly. Very sturdy, nice looking shelf. I bought this to double the size of my current printing/shipping area in my office, and it works great with the addition of thick plastic shelf liners.

This rack does everything I need it to. I have a sizable collection of Corning Ware that had started to overfill my cabinets. Now I can display it and easily find the right piece every time. This rack is very sturdy, which is good because all of these pieces weigh quite a bit.

So this product is EXACTLY what I needed. It was easy to assemble, took no time to put together. Actually, it took a little bit of time only because I didn't know how much space I wanted to put between the shelves. It's sturdy and firm as all get out as it's currently holding a Canon Pro-100 and a Canon Pro 9000 Mark II printer as well as the various sizes of printer paper for the printers. This is exactly what i needed for the smaller room these printers are in. I would buy this again no question and it's definitely worth the money!

Good Value for a sturdy steel shelf. I used it to help organize the Kitchen work area as shown in my Youtube video https://youtu.be/KTxg0bSENCQ Easy to put together and great that i could choose the height between shelves. I was able to place the first bottom shelf 6 inchs high therefore giving me some usable space below the first bottom shelf for items. Comes in ivory , black and silver color. Each shelf can hold up to 250 pounds if items evenly placed on the shelf. I have been using it for a few weeks.

I ordered online with prompt delivery, well packed. Ordered two for my sunroom for the plants during the winter. It is very sturdy, and bought casters for the feet to easily move the shelves. Bought two ivory and one black (for outside shed). I like the ability to make the shelf height as needed rather than a set spacing as the bottom shelves will be taller than normal for my big plants. I have had them for a couple of weeks, just in time for the cooler weather. I whole heartedly recommend them, especially with casters on the feet.

            Small three tier wire shelf
The three tier wire shelf is approximately 24” W x 30” H x 14” D. Assembly is required but easy and no tools are needed. The shelves are strong, adjustable and attractive enough to be on permanent display. No wheels are provided which would make it easier to move it about. However, casters with the proper threaded shaft could replace the adjustable feet. Its small size makes it ideal for use anywhere.

            Great Catch All
Do you have a small space under a window in your house ?? Well, HDX and The Home Depot have the solution ! This shelf needs some four hand assembly but no tools ! The steel parts are all powder coated so it should have a long lifespan. The height, 30 inches, fits in that lost space under a window or counter extension. The 3 shelves, 13 inches deep by 23 inches wide is perfect for cook books, nick nacks or small plants. Easy to adjust, slip joint compression shelves are nice and strong. I highly recommend ! See photos !!!

            Excellent price for shelving
4-Shelf Steel Shelving Unit in Ivory I acquired this to hold my tools off the ground and for easy access. It took only 30 minutes for me to assemble this unit and ten minutes of that time was spent figuring out how to stop the sleeves from slipping down the poles. The best way I found is to choose the groove you‘ve chosen to fit the sleeve and connect the two pieces around the post and just above it, and then slide it down until it clicks into place. Starting at the bottom of the posts of course and then sliding the lower shelf first so that is level and then fitting the next four sleeves, sliding down the second shelf and so on until all shelves are level and secure. The adjustable feet are handy for an uneven floor and are easy to turn by hand. It is made from a steel construction to enable the unit to hold up to 800 lbs. when evenly spaced between the racks. Once I understood the best way to click the sleeves into place, it was easy to adjust the height of the shelves in order to suite my requirements. With the feet adjusted to suite the basement uneven floor makes for a very secure shelving unit and for the low cost, this is well worth it.

What a difference to have handy storage in the kitchen nook!
Wow! This unit was so easy to put together...just taking about 15 minutes for my daughter and 16 yr old grandson. This chrome shelving unit looks so neat in the kitchen breakfast nook. It holds the overflow of snacks, prepackaged lunch items, some paper goods and the mixer. We bought baskets that coordinate with the current color theme in the kitchen. It looks wonderful and very neat!

            watch out for rough finish
In assembling this unit I had a sliver of metal break off and embed in my hand...not a particularly pleasant experience. Also one of the shelves was flawed in the manufacture process. I could make it work, as it was too much hassle to try to replace it. I did like the fact that this unit came with a back ledge guard to prevent things falling off the back of the shelves. These are fine for utility shelving. I am using it in my kitchen for storing pots, pans, mixers, and other appliances and kitchen paraphernalia, so I wanted the heavier industrial type shelving. The finish could have been better in spots...word to the wise you may want to wear gloves while assembling these units.

Does what its supposed to do - 5 year owner
Bought these for outdoor use to hold pots. I put about 20 x 16 inch pots on there and it's held up just fine. They rust outdoors obviously but I just spray paint them every few years and they are still doing just fine. Sturdy and still holding all my pots 5 years later with all the weather abuse. I live in So-Cal so not extreme weather.

              Easy to Build, Sturdy Storage
I have been wanting shelving units for my basement to store bins and large items not conducive to being stuck in closets (or in the bins), primarily holiday decorations and such. These shelves have been perfect. I can see what I'm looking for and if I need to move the shelves to better get to something, the wheels make it easy to do. (I have the unit in a basement storage area so you never know what other stuff I'll pile around it making some obstacles!) I found assembly easy, probably took about half of an hour. I was able to do the entire assembly by myself although I'm sure a second set of hands would have sped up the process a bit. In order to set the shelves into place you put little plastic pieces around the vertical poles. They prevent the shelves from going any further. Be sure to count the number of hashmarks on the poles so you have equal spacing for each plastic stopper or you will have uneven shelves. It's not terribly hard to push the shelf back up and pop off and move the stopper, but easier to do it right the first time! The unit is sturdy and I'm pleased with it.

              Exactly What We Needed!
Heavy duty, versatile, and simple to assemble. We needed a sturdy shelving unit in the garage and this fit the bill... perfectly. We particularly like: - WHEELS: it’s easy to move the loaded unit out of the way to clean the floors and rearrange the garage. Two wheels lock in place. However, the poles are pre-fit with self-leveling feet if that’s your preference -WIRE SHELVING: makes it easy to see what’s up high, doesn’t collect dust (or critters) to the extent of solid shelves, and allows for hooks and attachments. The manufacturer says the shelves are good to 500 lbs each, evenly distributed; be aware that the static load, with casters, is 600 lbs TOTAL for the unit (according to the website). The steel is not coated or painted and presumably not weatherproof. I wouldn’t trust storing it outdoors or in a corrosive environment. -SHELF SPACING VERSATILITY: the tapered plastic sleeves allow the shelves to lock into place almost anywhere up and down the pole (although the first shelf needs to be less than 6” from the floor for stability) -SHELF BACKSTOPS: Rare and welcome feature! The manufacturer calls them backstands, but it's great to have something to keep small items from falling off and slipping behind the shelving. The pieces were efficiently packed (we did have to hammer out an uneven spot on a wire shelf). Assembly is fast and easier with two people; not because of weight, but to align the shelves as they slide over the four support posts.

A Great Solution For My New Basement Storage Area
When I ordered this shelving unit, I fully expected it to come with a large bag of screws, nuts, washers, and bolts. So, I had my tools all ready when it arrived, ready to start assembling. As it turned out, the only tools I needed were my brain and hands! Included in the box, are eight pole sections, six shelves, six shelf backs, four casters, and 48 ingenious plastic tapered sleeves (plus an extra pair). Whomever thought up the design of this shelving unit is a genius! You start by screwing together the pole sections to make four legs. A little under six inches from the bottom, you place a pair of the plastic tapered sleeves around the leg. The sleeves are made to lock into one of a series of grooves that run about an inch apart from the bottom to the top of each leg. After you have sleeves on all four legs, you slide the four legs into the corner holes of one of the shelves. Once you have them in place, you stand the whole assembly upright, and repeat the process about a foot apart, or however high you want each shelf to be above the one below it until you are done. The shelf backs lock onto the back edge with no fasteners. You then have the choice of staying with the adjustable feet already installed on each leg, or remove them and replace them with the four locking wheeled casters they include in the package. In my case, because my basement ceiling is so low, I opted to leave off the casters and just use the adjustable feet. I couldn't believe how fast and easy assembly of this shelving unit was, and how sturdy and stable it is once it is done. Now, I want another one to complete my new basement storage area! Thanks HDX and Home Depot!

              Great Heavy Duty Shelving
I cannot help but notice how this shelving unit is so much heavier than the others I have. It is strong enough for my heaviest items. It was very easy to assemble. The instructions suggested to use 2 people, but I was able to do it single handed. You assemble this unit from the bottom shelf up. I started by laying 2 assembled poles on the floor then inserted the other 2 poles. There are plastic shelf holders that you clamp on to each pole at the same level, then slide the shelf over them. After the bottom shelf was secure, I stood the unit up and standing on a chair, slid each shelf down over the plastic holders at the level I wanted. The bottom of the legs come with leveling feet. They also provide heavy duty locking casters which I used so the shelving would be easy to move around.

              Great for storage
The unit arrived in very large, very heavy box (70+ pounds) which was difficult for me to maneuver into the house, but I managed. Everything was packaged well and nothing was scratched, bent or otherwise damaged. Assembly was quite easy and only took about 10 minutes once I had everything out of the box. I didn't really need the instructions since I've assembled many similar units in the past, but the instructions were sufficient to get the job done if you've never had to assemble something like this before. I originally thought this would go in our garage, but after putting everything together, I realized just how large the unit is and wouldn't fit the space. So I swapped this out for our existing shelving unit in the kitchen and am so happy that we did. It looks great, is plenty sturdy and has so much storage space. The back-stops you can add are also a really nice feature to keep things from falling behind the unit. I did not use the wheels so I cannot speak to their strength or ease of use, but they appear very sturdy and easy to install with the unit if desired. Overall, I'm very impressed!

Easy to assemble, sturdy basement shelf
Took about five minutes to assemble following the relatively straightforward instructions. Metal shelves bend under high pressure but seem strong enough to support at least most of the weight claimed on the box. Not the prettiest shelf in the world but good for basement storage, getting things off the floor to save them from possible flooding. Haven't compared this to the similar brand-name shelves HD sells, but I'd wager that this is comparable. I got 30% off for Black Friday, without which I might feel some buyer's remorse, but unless it rusts badly or collapses, neither of which it has yet done (granted, only one month into owning it), it seems like it will last for many years if not forevever. As it stands, it gets 4 stars because frankly, it should be priced at $40 regularly. At that price it's a no-brainer; at $60 it might be worth comparing it to some of the similarly-priced brand name shelves.

                Beautiful and high quality!
This smaller shelving unit is no slouch! I assembled this by myself, and it went together so easily - high quality parts, great instructions, and a perfect result. A benefit of these shelves is that the height of each shelf can be adjusted. I placed my boxes on each shelf to maximize storage. The shelves look good enough to keep in plain view - I love them!

I got two of these shelving units for kitchen items I want to store. I cannot say enough good things about them! They are beautiful, heavy, sturdy, deep, and assemble with ease! I assembled them myself - by myself - and had absolutely no issues! All the instructions are easy to follow, the pieces go together well, and the end result is - amazing! My photos tell it all! I highly recommend these shelves!

                Strong and Versatile Storage Solution
I ordered this shelving system with the intention of creating a little more space in my cluttered walk in closet and wow did I get what I was looking for! I had no idea just how strong these shelves are. I can probably stand up on top of them and hop up and down and I don't even think they would bend and I weigh 235 lbs! They were really easy to put together, although I'd recommend having a second person to help you hold the legs steady while you get the locks and shelves wedged into place at the desired height and spacing. I am definitely going to get one or two of the larger units for my garage.

Perfect for a garage/workshop - sturdy and has acres of shelf space
We're remodeling the garage/workshop and decided to add this shelf for tool storage to supplement the garage storage cabinets we bought. We already had an older, smaller wire shelving set up but it had surface rust and needed an upgrade. In our case, we decided to add the HDX shelf locking wheel set while building the unit (which we bought separately as wheels are not included with the basic shelf), so we can move it around the workshop while we clean the floor or if something falls off the adjacent work bench and disappears beneath it. The product was well packaged with a simple set of instructions and takes about 20-30 minutes for one person to assemble. The only pre-planning required is to decide how far you want to space the 5 shelves so you can locate the plastic shelf supports in the right places as you assemble it. To give you an idea of the storage capacity of this unit, the bottom shelf in the attached picture has the following tools - biscuit jointer, planer, two angle grinders, two drill/drivers and a reciprocating saw all on a single shelf in their plastic storage boxes. The chrome finish is solid with no blemishes and goes very well with the light grey epoxy floor and the dark grey/diamond plate cabinets.
