Typical Strong EMT Mounting Bracket
A strong bracket. I used these brackets with 1/4 inch lag bolts to permanently secure parallel horizontal runs along floor joist 4 inches above the finished ceiling. Even though these brackets are strong enough to use, I would still recommend the 2 hole brackets (Model # 26164) if you need to run EMT at right angles to the floor joist, .
