Very easy to install.

Excellent housing for new construction using LED lights. In my case, I used between floor joists in basement ceiling between 12.5 and 24 inches and tack nails allowed me to install easily.

I was very happy with all of the little extras on this product. No need for wire nuts because it has the nice piece that lets you push the wire into a hole and your connection is made. True for white/black and ground wires. SO much cleaner. It also had a connection that matched my light fixture.

quick, easy installation

Ordered 12 fixtures (6-pack x 2) and when I picked up the order at the store the box contained 2 fixtures. I immediately requested a refund for the order. A complete waste of my time.

The light canisters are easily adjustable and makes wiring very easy.

This housing does the job. I like the connector compatible with LEDs and doing away with the Edison screw connector. I also like the push connectors for the electrical connections, which are very tight and work well. Some minor issues: you can accidentally knock out the panel in the lack of the junction box if you inadvertently hit it while tightening the connectors to the box (I have done this once or twice). The arms can easily come off of the sliding tabs when being adjusted, again not a major issue. Generally, a good box for a good price and really appreciate that it is IC.

Well built, good product, easy entrance ports for romex cable. Just make sure you get the correctly sized and rated light fixture and make sure it's not damaged during shipping.

Very good product and good value overall. We've installed probably a couple hundreds of these fixtures and not had any problems with any of them.

Little disappointed as HD sent used /previously returned housing. Three of them didn’t even have the slider working properly.

The new construction cans were good. I originally purchased the remodel cans, but the retaining clips would not stay locked and the light was loose in the ceiling. I ended up with the new construction can and modified the mounting arms and went into the attic to mount directly to the ceiling joists to make it work.

This is just perfect in every way -- I have installed 16 of these in the past year

These work and are straightforward to install, but there are some details that just miss the mark. 1) Even with all four nails hammered all the way in in, the housing still moves too much when installing the light. This means you when you take your hands away, there is a gap between the top of the light and the ceiling. The manual says to rotate clockwise to close this gap, but that doesn't really help. 2) Ground wire at the junction box, but not inside the can. I ended up attaching a length of wire on the inside to make light install earlier. My hands were too big to reach behind the light and install the ground screw into the designated hole with the light in the way. Why not just do that by default? 3) The adjustment for ceiling height is terrible. You can move the can up and down, but you have to apply a lot of force while rotating. I don't think you could do it after it's installed. With standard drywall, you don't really need to adjust the height, fortunately.
