If you’re looking for something small, but useful, this isn’t the one. Even though it is half the size of the other, after you buy it and open the box and go through the materials, you’ll find a sheet of paper that says 1lb propane will only last 20 minutes. They recommend a hose - ‘conveniently’ sold at Home Depot - and a 20lb tank, overriding the space efficiency it is designed for in the first place.

I purchased two of these for my patio setup. Fit perfectly on top of table or on a coffee table. Color matched my setup perfectly. Assembly was pretty straight-forward. Quality is OK - about what I would expect at this price-point (when discounted). I wouldn't leave these outside, unprotected - under cover would be preferable. I was a little disappointed that there was a note inside of the box recommending not to use 1lb propane cylinders with this unit as it may tend to freeze. I think the vast majority of users would expect to pop in the 1lb tanks and run this thing. I've tried it, and it still works, but it does tend to shut off by itself automatically after 20-30 minutes. I've also used this with a 20lb tank and adapter and it still shuts off automatically sometimes. One unit starts with just one click, but my other unit requires multiple clicks to get started.

To start the heater had several parts that looked used. I wasnt a fan of that. The amount of heat it gives off is pretty good considering its size. I dont like the fact that if a small propan can is used, you can only get about 20/25 minutes of heat before the can freezes over. That being said it should come with the attachment for the larger grill sized propane tanks.

Works great. Honestly buy one. Just right for my patio.

Easy to put together. Put it out on our patio on a table, using a 20 lb. BBQ propane tank. It was 45 degrees outside, and standing anywhere near this did not make us feel warm (on High). 11,000 BTU is just not adequate to provide any "real" heat.

The pilot will light but goes out when you try to turn the knob to higher settings

I wish I had read the reviews first. This product is very misleading, so much so that the company had to put an insert flyer inside the box. It only runs for a few minutes on the 1lb propane tank that one would very naturally assume it uses.

This heater does not produce much heat at all. You should take the restrictor off of it and allow for a larger flame. It's very weak.

The manual contradicted the # of nuts and bolts included and I needed extras. Also,the thermocouple was acting up for the first ten times I used it and it would turn off within 5-20minutes. That issue cleared up on its’ own. It’s a decent heat provider.

Returned it. For the price this thing was horrible. You literally have to be right under it to feel some sort of heat. Very disappointing

With proper maintenantnce this heater will last forever. Its neccessary to blow the spider webs out the pilot light feeder tube every year. Ive also had to replace the thermocouple. Common sense care will allow you to have years of use. Just remember, its not designed to heat the entire outdoor space. Its a table top heater and provides comfort for those who dont expect unrealistic results. All those one star reviews are from the type of folks expecting a miricle for a hundred bucks. Ive enjoyed mine for 15 years. Same exact design with very little change. Mine has a clamp to secure it through the table umbrella hole and came with the extension hose. Lets be real people

Perfect, just what I wanted. Excellent way of heating small outdoor spaces. Could not be more satisfied with my purchase!

Pretty good product puts out a limited amount of heat . Would buy a larger one next

Easy assembly works great

The only issue is taht the instructions are extremely small so I had to have someone with better visin tell me how to light it correctly. Other than that...worked great.
