Cabinets look amazing can't tell they are laminate. Easy to cut and install

Here's a copy of the email I sent a week ago to VT Industries regarding this product (I have yet to get a response): Hi— I recently received and installed several of your countertops: a 6’ which was fairly flat, one left and one right miter. The 6’ top and the right miter top arrived together. The eight foot right miter had a worrisome bow, especially at the miter end. I laid it on a flat surface in hopes it might flatten out while I waited for the left miter to arrive. When the left mitered top arrived a week later, it was significantly bowed and twisted, as were the long splashes. The boxes didn’t appear to be bent, in fact they were very effective in keeping the tops cosmetically undamaged. Returning the tops was not an option, as it was essential that I got this kitchen up and functional in the few days I had to work on it. It cost me nearly a day setting-up the kitchen cabinets with blocks substantial enough to pull the warps out of the tops with screws and pocket screws to do a passable job.The splashes needed elaborate clamping and wedging to get them acceptably set.----- I’ve been a finish carpenter for forty years; I can’t even imagine how a DYI’er could pull it off! I’ll attach a picture of how out of line the miter bolt pockets were. I don’t know how this might happen, but this issue was a side-show. I used a block to hold the two miters together to compensate. The routing mistake at the miters goes into the dumb goof category, but the warpage goes into the bad process category. My guess is that they leave your shop in good shape, but that it’s humidity that causes all the warpage. Sure seems like sealing the under/backsides would go some way towards keeping the tops stable in transit. If I had this to do over, I’d either do my own laminating, or tile, even! Life’s too short to spend so much time and effort trying to save a little time and effort! I haven’t given feedback to Home Depot regarding the tops—I hope you’ve taken the time to read this and make the effort to improve. Thanks, JW

Easy to install. Use the backsplash that comes with it or do tile instead.

I used Marmo Vianco Mable 6f. for my bathroom. Marmo Vianco Marble has warm undertone which matches my off white (cream or antique white) cabinet. I did not really like the backsplash and the end tape ( they are screaming this is laminate!) , so I use tiles instead. This countertop is beautiful and very high quality. also almost carefree unlike real Marble. I love it!

Love the color and its so easy to install and cut.. next step new floor!!! Lol

Installed the countertop with a cut out for a sink. Finished the project and began to use the space. After the first day of use and minor splashing from the sink the countertop buckled. There must of been a small crack in the laminate that water got in and swelled. It is looking like I need to start all over. Not a good time.

Exactly what I was looking for. We had a few issues with cutting the counter top but otherwise it looks Great! We'll be putting in tile backsplash after new window so we didn't use the supplied one, which is a nice option. We ordered it online & had it shipped to store. The sales person was so helpful letting us to check it for any damages at store, there were none.

It was packaged well enough that there was no damage. Installed easy and looks good.

The countertop is what we expected. The form is correct, the color is good throughout and easy to install. The only con is the backsplash ends are unpainted. In our situation, one end is revealed, so we painted the end. Would recommend this product for DIY. Good for the price.

Very nice countertops for the price. The color throughout is good. The only con is the back splash ends are left unfinished. In our case, we had to paint the ends that are showing. Just installed on 12/10/18.

I bought this for my bathroom make over. I had it delivered to the store. It was in perfect condition. It was very easy to put in and it looks wonderful. I must say that it is heavy and does take two people. The shine and grain looks like an expensive stone. I am very pleased and will be buying another one for my other bathroom.

Great product, well packaged. Had shipped to the store and no damage to packaging or item. It even included all the glue needed. Would highly recommend.

This was actually a replacement counter for one we had previously ordered that was damaged. We had actually ordered three separate counters from HD, and all three had damage! We managed to use two of them by cutting off the damaged portions, but couldn't with this piece. We returned the damaged piece and this piece came with absolutely no damage whatsoever.

Was not really happy. The product came with the bow in it that I had to struggle to keep down, and there was a chip on the end very disappointed this time with this countertop.

Countertop and backsplash were warped.? Were supposed to be delivered to address not store...had to pay some one to pick it up for me ?.

The laminate countertop was a good value for the money spent. Color of tabletop and backsplash matched. It was delivered in proper shipping material. There was a bow in both, and that took a few days with weights on them to work it. Not everything is straight on the walls and cabinets, so silicon is going to be your friend. Unfortunately, Home Depot, as with others won't cut a hole in it for you. Don't forget laminate is very unforgiving, it chips, so use the correct saw; another way HD made a few more $s off me but do get the correct tools if you are going to start cutting.

The countertop kit was easy to install and looks beautiful. It exceeded our expectations! Our bathroom looks like we had it professionally done. We would highly recommend this product.
