I as a woman found it super wasy to place and use. Only 2 screws to do and it works great I'm so glad I purchased it. Nice loud door chimes so finally I can tell when someones at my backdoor.thumbs ☝

This Hampton Bay wireless door bell is an excellent choice! I used it for a storage building that had a high pitched roof, I didn't need a outlet for it to work. The chime has 3 sound options and all hardware is enclosed. You will need 3- C batteries for the chime unit. The westminister chime sound is awesome. It echo's in a space with high ceilings ! I can hear it in the bathroom with the door closed. It was easy to install and to read the instructions. The chime unit is only 6inches wide ,which makes it a great choice for small areas. The holes on the back where the screws fit to attach on the wall is 3 inches apart.

This was the right replacement for an older "wireless" door bell. The 100' range is nice and the 3 ring tones could be useful. ( this is installed for only one door and the "ding-Dong" is plenty. It was simple and straight forward to install. (took ll of about 15 min including finding the C cell batteries I already had.) Sound is loud enough with out being too loud and the "Chime" looks reasonable attached to the wall. I hope it lasts because it is just what I was looking for.

This wireless doorbell by Hampton Bay uses 3 “C” cell batteries (not included) in the chime portion, and the pushbutton uses a CR2032 button battery (included). Extra pushbuttons are available separately. The chime is 6x6 inches square, 1.5 inches deep, has 3 chime tones to select from (Ding, Ding-Dong & Westminster) and can be placed up to 100 feet from the pushbutton. Mounting hardware is included, and it’s an easy installation project. I mounted it in my downstairs hallway near the ceiling, at the foot of the stairwell leading upstairs, and it’s loud enough to be heard throughout the house. The price is reasonable, and it works very well.

I recently installed the Hampton Bay Wireless Battery Operated Doorbell Kit which includes 1 chime and 1 wireless push button. If you are searching for a simple to install door bell, this is it. The doorbell packaging comes with all you need (with the exception of 3”C” batteries) to install and operate the unit. The doorbell has 3 chime options which are easily set to what sound you may prefer. With no wires to hook up, it literally took me about 15 minutes to install this doorbell. The decibel level is definitely loud enough to be heard throughout a normally sized living space. I really like this unit very much due to its ease of installation and simplicity (anyone can install this).

My wired doorbell quit working. I was not able to fix it myself. Rather than hiring electrician I got this wireless doorbell kit. I installed it myself. It’s super easy and I love it!

Doesn't ring all the time. Have to really lean on the button or push several times. Not loud enough.

Doorbell constantly rings without anyone touching it. Waste of money. If you don’t want to waste yours, too, avoid buying.

I only needed the push button part, but had to buy the whole kit. Now I'm stuck with the main part that is useless for me.

Easy to put up. Sounds good. Used it for someone's apartment in independent living.
