    The Hampton Bay collection is sub par. The drawers stick and do not roll as they should. The cabinets are wrapped, not painted so if you damage it at all, the repair will not look nice. The installer put them in place before I saw the lack of quality in these cabinets. If you are considering this line, go see them in person before you make your selection. The better quality cabinets are not that much more expensive, but the price difference is well worth it. I'm disappointed that these are even offered in stores.

    I'm a DIY'r that has bought and installed numerous cabinets over the decades. I knew these were low-end, but I didn't think it was possible to make something this shoddy and bad. They did it! The materials are the worst kind of thin stapled particleboard. The workmanship is horrible (example: *none* of the face-frame rails and stiles are joined straight with each other - how do you do this?). The hardware is so cheap. One of the drawer slides broke soon after installation. Now I am stuck with it. See that toe kick in the picture? It is stapled in place with soft plastic gussets. On mine, it was loose and crooked. I ripped it out and made my own from plywood, but of course I had to sister-in some real wood pieces to attach the plywood, because the crappy particleboard wouldn't hold up to the screws. So bad. I don't expect these to last long. Terrible. Just terrible.

      Worst quality cabinets I've ever seen. Had staples that totally missed and were not pulled out and were visible once cabinets were installed. These were special order and took 2 weeks to get. Had plumber and flooring lined up next day and couldn't delay another 2 weeks. Poor is to high of a rating.
