peeling sides and oak face doesnt align nicely
1. The particle board sides are covered with a wood grain film. Unfortunately, one side of our cabinet peeled off like Christmas wrapping paper as we took it out of the box. I’m thinking the adhesive didn’t stick properly. 2. The upper cabinet face trim didn’t nicely align with the oven cabinet face trim so there are gaps where I’ll have to use wood putty to correct the issue. Photo attached.

    Bought this to install a double oven, wife decided that she would rather have an extra pantry. All it took was to cut up some used glass insert bi-fold doors, a few hinges & pulls and some stain (all bought at Home Depot) and a few hours of elbow grease. Really simple project!

        This order ships in two packages that do not arrive at the same time. We are still awaiting the second package after 3 weeks. We will have to make alot of custom modifications to even use this product if and when we finally receive the remainder of the order. Home depot will not give me any info as to when it arrives nor does the shipping company. Dont waste your time or money. Its not ready for install amd the packages do not arrive.

              Cabinet Opening and Size.
              This cabinet is advertised with a 30-inch wide maximum opening. That is not entirely true. After removing the 1-1/2 inch facing boards from the left side and the right side, you are left with a maximum of 27-inch opening. That is it, there is no more removeable boards. To achieve a full 30-inch opening, the customer must be able to carefully custom-cut another 1-1/2 inch off the existing 3-inch facing boards on the right and left sides that are not detachable. So, this type of cut must be done in place. I was able to do this with the right materials (i.e., masking tape to mark and protect the finished cutting surface, etc.) and tools (i.e., clamps, saw guide, blade used for hardwoods, etc.). But the average customer will not know how to do this. It is wrong to advertise this as a cabinet with a maximum opening of 30-inches when it is actually 27-inches. But Hampton Bay can easily fix this by building the cabinet with the addition of another removable the 1-1/2 inch facing boards.
