Gave Havahart a try and it was safe for animals. Was hoping this spray would repel dogs on my lawn so they stop pooping, but did not work. Saw a couple new cats around too. I give up.

spray bottle doesn't spray, It's more like a stream. I guess it doesn't matter because it doesn't deter deer from eating my bush! waste of money.

Working great ! Squirrel evidently does not like the oils and scent of the mixture. has not returned to the roof and facia board to chew on to try to enter the roof on this cold day.

Doesn't work... Cats seem to love it
I've been using this stuff for months as a "conditioning agent", as the company calls it. Not only has it not worked, but the cats seem to love it. I swear. Every time I spray it, more cats seem to come and destroy my garden beds, leaving their droppings everywhere. I've spent so much money on both the spray AND the powder. This just does nothing. It's not "teaching them to avoid the area".

Disappointed
Did not receive, either it was stolen or the driver never delivered the item. And the store hasn't resoved the issue.

The product did not work. I still have cats using my side yard as their bathroom. I am very disappointed in the effectiveness especially due to the expense of the product.

I sprayed it in the yard to keep a rat away from a tree. We also have a dog. After spraying it, the dog went up to the area, sniffed around, and just went right into the area. Later that evening, the rat probably did that same, as it was there again. Does not work at all.

This product never works. I bought it to get rid of Cats roaming around my yard, I still see cats hanging around same area and position I just spread. Am returning this product back to Home Depot.

It keeps armadillos out of my yard
I kept seeing large holes in my Nashville yard in the morning. My neighbor gave me this spray bottle and problem solved. Armadillos are like kudzo: you can never erradicate them, the best you can do is push them out into neighbor's yard. For my lawn, I discovered that spraying around the edges (street, driveway to driveway) multiple times at first, then reapply periodically encourages armadillos to keep walking down the street past my house to a house that is not protected.

I had trouble getting the trigger spray to work properly and the spray was feeble. After working with it several minutes my hand ached. Fortunately we have a small patch of grass and the squirrels seem to be avoiding it now, although it has just been less than a week that we have used it.AO66
