This is a LOT easier to use than another brand I purchased last year and washed off during the winter. Still painting it on but so far it is repelling the water well.

Shane, you used just the right product to dampproof your foundation. Henry 107 Asphalt Emulsion is a creamy thixotropic liquid. (In roofer terms that just means that it is a very thick liquid that becomes more fluid when it is mixed). Henry 107 can also be used to seal a wide variety of surfaces. Great product and easy to apply for foundation coating.
When purchasing make sure the product is still in liquid form. It cures to a hard waterproof surface. It will solidify in the lid if not securely attached. I bought a can and opened it to find it had hardened to a solid rubber.

I really won't know how well it works until 5...
I really won't know how well it works until 5 years from now when most wood rots away. However, the product was very easy to use/apply and the clean-up was really easy. It seems better to use than a spray-on product that was promoted to me by someone in the paint department.

Steve, it appears that you used Henry 107 Asphalt Emulsion to seal your wooden fence posts. We know that you will be happy with the results you get from doing that step to make sure your posts last longer in the ground. Henry 107 contains bentonite clay which is what is used to hold back the water in earthen dams. 107 is also used on foundations and roof coatings for water protection. Mike, Henry 107 Asphalt Emulsion is a water based sealer and as such is dependent on the weather conditions to cure. It will take Henry 107 longer to cure if the humidity is high or if the temperature does not stay above 50 degrees day and night for at least 48 hours. Threat of rain within 24 hours, low temperatures, high humidity all affect cure times.

Easier & cheaper
Applying this product was much easier and cheaper for a base coat than the elastomeric I've used in the past. Apply as directed with a good 48 hours to dry and it's great!
