Quality product made in the USA!!

Great pull strength like normal Mcleod; poor handle strength under pressure. Snapped one in half about an hour in, the other survived and did ok. Will only purchase wood handle moving forward.

Have been wanting a McLeod since I first used one doing community service 18 years ago, Nice that home Depot is now carrying them, Haven't used it yet but it seems to be well made with quality materials.

After passing up Mcleod fire tools that had longer wooden handles with a bolt attaching the blade, and that were well over $110, I found this nice sturdy Mcleod with maybe a fiberglass handle? easier to quickly wield around the yard for compost and trails, for a bargain price. Not sure about the fire durability, as 'glass might burn up easier than wood. Great for what I need though, to turn over the mulch.

much better trail tool. Handle doesn't hold up to heat like wood. otherwise the tool holds up and does its job. you can't beat the price. I have 3 plus the one with a melted handle. did i mention , it's made in the usa

Well made. Works as expected. No bolt on the bottom so good for tamping. Handle is good but a little short.

This is a fantastic tool for removing overgrown debris and English Ivy from a property. This is a quality, well made tool so, it is a bit heavy, providing a good workout by the end of the day. It definitely gets the job done.

Needed 6 for jobsite firebox requirements - these are made to last!

This has worked as I hoped. I’m using it to help shape hand cut walking/bike trails in the woods. It works well as a tamper, rake, and small shovel in one. Other reviews said the handle seemed short but I think it’s fine and I’m 6’2” tall.

Makes grooming established trails or clearing runner vines when making first cuts. Definitely a handy fire tool, without question as to why that's so.

This tools is made of very good materials. It handles pretty good and the design is great. It should last a good while. I would recommend it for any company that does wildland maintenance or firefighting.

This rake is sturdy and well-made. My yard is full of rocks, and the rake is making the job of clearing them much easier. Other than wishing the tines were a bit closer together, the rake is great and I recommend it for heavy raking jobs.

great for moving rocks

I use this tool to help build mountain bike trails and it works great. It does well at cutting through roots and moving medium sized rocks. It’s also really good for moving debris of the trails.

The Nupla 48" McLeod Fire Tool came just as described and was simple to put together. Very heavy duty, should last many years with the non-professional use that I will be putting it through. Can't wait to use it.

The handle starting splintering. Fiberglass splinters in my hand after like 5 uses.

This rake is sturdy enough for raking rocks in our driveway and versitile enough for breaking up weeds in the flower bed. It stands up on it's own for storage in the garage. Great product!

Very good

This "rock rake" is "assembled" in the USA, but the most important component - the forged head, is marked made in CHINA !!! This rake is CLEARLY of non-commercial quality, unlike Austrian or USA-forged steel. When I originally inquired about the "origin of manufacture", I was told it was "Made in the USA".......... that's no longer the case. I will not equip my crews with sub-quality tools.

Have already used a McLeod. Needed two for personal use on trail work.

I got this for my husband and he loves it. He says it has a nice handle and sturdy rake head. It really gets up all the rocks. Would recommend to all rockers.

I have had for about a year. Love it to use! Can’t live without. But handle broke in half. So disappointed..
